Luton Town - then playing in English football's top tier - made an end-of-season tour to New Zealand during which they played two entertaining friendlies against the host country's national squad. This match programme was published for the first of those games, which saw New Zealand win 3-2 at Auckland's Newmarket Park with goals from Keith Nelson (2) and Sam Malcolmson.
