The Peoples' Republic of China made a three-match tour of New Zealand in July 1975. This souvenir programme was produced for the opening encounter, won 2-1 by New Zealand at Auckland's Newmarket Park. Scorers for the home side were Dave Taylor and Earle Thomas. The sides drew 2-2 in Wellington, with Taylor and Thomas again the scorers, and New Zealand clinched the series with a 2-0 victory in Christchurch. Thomas scored both goals.
