Treat Truck (Social Enterprise) Friends Treat Truck is a mobile ice cream truck that serves up frozen treats, good times, and big smiles for private parties, corporate events, and pop-up markets around the city of Nashville.
Programming Provides person-driven support through group learning and community-based classes to develop confidence, selfadvocacy, and skills necessary for Friends to accomplish personal goals and find fulfillment.
Special Events Special events play a crucial role in building awareness for FLC, raising funds, and telling impactful stories. They create opportunities to engage audiences, attract attention to the importance of inclusion, and generate support. Mission: To provide adults with developmental disabilities the opportunities to grow personally, develop socially, and enjoy community as they experience life together.

Respite Providing reliable safe respite care allows FLC to come alongside a family to offer a respite from the demands of everyday life, creating a healthier family unit. $15,000 - 24-Hour Overnight Respite Weekend Sponsor a weekend of adventure for 15 Friends, where they can develop independence, travel, and have fun, all under the care of FLC staff. $5,000 - Social Club Sponsorship Support bi-monthly Social Club outings for 20 Friends to explore fun activities around town, fostering friendships and social connections. $2,400 - Dinner and a Movie Sponsorship Cover the cost of weekly Dinner and Movie events for one quarter (3 months), where Friends enjoy a meal, watch a movie, and strengthen friendships. Up to 20 Friends each week.

Special Events Egg Hunt, Spring 2027 FLC’s inaugural egg hunt hosted by the Friends. Free and open to the community, this inclusive event will be egg-citing. There will be crafts, puppetry, sweet treats, age group egg hunts and a visit by the Easter Bunny. We are preparing for 100 attendees. Friendship Day, June 2027 At FLC we celebrate the power of friendship by acknowledging the similarities and differences each person offers to the broader community. This is a day of online giving and celebration. Matching Gift Donor ($5,000 - $50,000) - This gift will encourage individuals to donate by doubling their gift. Social media Sponsor $2,500 - Underwrites the cost of short videos that shares Friendship stories leading up to June 3rd and the day of. This hands-on approach is essential to their growth and success. However, to continue offering these impactful experiences, we need safe and reliable transportation. Currently, our fleet includes a 2008 vehicle that needs replacement. Without dependable transportation, we risk compromising our ability to serve our participants effectively. Projects First Floor Industrial and Sound Absorption Furniture - $90,500 Friends Life Community serves 35 individuals daily, offering a warm, welcoming space that fosters a strong sense of community. We are grateful for past support, including second-hand donations of affordable furniture that have helped make our space livable. As we continue to grow, we now need to invest in more durable, clean, and sound-absorbing furniture to create comfortable spaces that support our programming and enhance the daily experience for our Friends. This upgrade will strengthen connections, improve our facility, and have a lasting impact on how we engage and build relationships within our community.
