In the spring of 1965 the hottest ticket on Charles Street was the Upper School's production of the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical "The Sound of Music." With a cast and crew of more than 60 students, we're certain the show's director, former Friends School music teacher and director Jack Brumit, declared it "the best show ever!"
