LitHop, Fresno's Annual Literary Festival, Returns to Tower District for its 6th Year
Fresno's LitHop, an annual literary festival held in the city's Tower District, returns for its sixth year on Saturday, October 14, 2023. The festival, founded in 2016 by California's Poet Laureate, Lee Herrick, during his tenure as Fresno's Poet Laureate, features free public readings across venues in the historic neighborhood Each reading begins on the hour and showcases four readers, who have organized and submitted a proposal around a theme or topic Though there are some venues that are 21+, most readings and venues are accessible to all ages. There is a limit of two reading proposals per reader to avoid time conflicts and/or double-booked reading events. If you plan to submit a reading proposal, be sure to read the guidelines carefully. Reader proposals will be accepted until July 1, 2023. Please see lithopfresno org for more information LitHop Fresno is a fiscally sponsored project of the Fresno Arts Council
