Jaguar Athletics Mission Statement The mission of Jaguar Athletics is to offer student-athletes, through their participation in athletics, an opportunity to experience physical and mental growth, feelings of accomplishment, and personal success. Jaguar Athletics will accomplish this through the development of healthy practices of the mind, heart, and physical work that allows each student-athlete to realize their full potential Jaguar Athletics is committed to excellence in athletics as part of a larger commitment to excellence in education.

Welcome to Athletics at International High School. At International, athletics is serious fun: skill, finesse, intelligence, strategy, passion and, above all, heart. Our athletes play because they love the game, they love their teammates, and they love to represent the Jaguars on the field, the courts, or in the pool.

At International, we have an all-inclusive athletics program. We do not cut. If you can make the commitment and positively contribute to your team, we want you in our program. We encourage our students to get involved and try something new. Most of our team sports offer Junior Varsity teams, so our student-athletes can develop their skills before jumping to the highly-competitive Varsity squads.

At International High School, we cannot imagine life without these moments. We strive to create an ideal environment for individuals to thrive and become the best they can be.

Competitive Athletics, Rigorous Academics International High School students bring intensity and integrity to all their endeavors, and challenge themselves to excel in the classroom and on the field of play. Year after year, International athletes consistently earn recognition on all-conference teams with academic honors.

At International High School, participation in interscholastic sports is fully integrated into the educational process and experience. Jaguar student-athletes are active members of a campus community that values cultural diversity and gender equity, fostering a spirit of cooperation, leadership, commitment, and mutual respect. Athletics at International

Go Jaguars!

International High School offers multiple interscholastic athletic teams, including two club teams: sailing and skiing. For most team sports, there are multiple levels of participation including Junior Varsity and some Freshmen/Frosh teams. International is a member of the North Coast Section and competes in the highly competitive Bay Area Conference. Member schools in our conference include University, Lick-Wilmerding, Bay School, Drew School, Convent of the Sacred Heart/Stuart Hall, Marin Academy and many more.

Athletic Edge:

On-Campus Facilities At International, we take pride in our on-campus facilities. Students have the opportunity to achieve their fitness goals in our state of the art Jaguar Performance Lab, also known as our weight room. Our strength and conditioning coach’s focus is to use strength and conditioning as a way to reduce risk of injury. Every student’s goal can be realized in this room. This space serves many purposes: team workouts, film viewing, meeting space, and even training for off-season athletes.

In the spring of 2020, we opened our Practice Field two blocks from the main campus. Our cross country, soccer, track & field, and lacrosse teams are able to use this field for practice on campus. It’s also an appropriate place to do outdoor strength and conditioning for all teams. Having this facility so close to campus allows our student-athletes to have more time to focus on their homework, rather than commute to city fields every day for training.

Last but not least, our Jaguar Den is home to most spirit events and our indoor sports: volleyball, basketball, and badminton. The open concept allows for multiple teams to practice at the same time. Some of the favorite memories happen when we pack the Jag Den for Winter Fan Jams or playoffs.

With an urban location, many of our teams use San Francisco Rec and Park facilities, as well as private facilities.
