Future of Robotics with LEGO® Spike Prime Camp

Join Brick Tech as we design, build, program and test robotics projects with the newest materials that LEGO® has to offer, Spike Prime! All participants will get hands on learning experience as they are introduced to STEM and programming concepts. Everything will be provided from tablets for programming, Spike Prime Robotics materials (motors, sensors, brain brick), and more LEGO® bricks and pieces than they could ever build! Programming with Minecraft

This course utilizes the engaging world of Minecraft to introduce Python coding fundamentals. As students explore the virtual landscapes they love, they’ll learn key coding concepts like variables, data types, loops, conditionals, and functions. From laying a yellow brick road to building entire towns and hosting virtual treasure hunts, your child will create interactive experiences powered by Python. Puppets and Stories

Puppets are an extension of the self as well as a character. Using puppets while writing stories helps in understanding how a character in a story would think and behave in each situation. Students will make puppets and create wondrous settings to tell their stories in. You will take home different types of puppets and at least one scene or backdrop to use with your puppets. Jet Cadets

Central Park Sports Jam is the best way to spend your Spring Break! Join your friends and our fun staff for an outdoor sports skills camp including soccer, basketball, baseball/softball and much more - together with your favorite music! Groups are split up by ages or skill. Lunch will be provided for the full day by City of Fremont Catering!

In the event of inclement weather, Central Park Sports Jam may be moved indoors to an available location.

Tennis Camp

Campers will learn to play tennis culminating in a friendly team competition on the last day of camp. This camp is run by City of Fremont instructors that have undergone extensive training based on the USTA National Player Development coaching philosophies and methodology.

Camp fee includes T-shirt. Lunch will be provided for the full day by City of Fremont Catering!

Golf Camp

With years of experience in Junior Golf Camps, our instructors/assistants provide a fun atmosphere for learning golf swing fundamentals, sportsmanship, rules and etiquette. By the end of camp, your child will know how to play golf safely with noticeable improvements. Material fee: $25.

Adventures @ Ardenwood

Spend Spring Break at Ardenwood Historic Farm - a screen-free environment! George and Clara, owners of the now historic place, had adventures visiting memorable places in the United States and saw many lands. Learn art, games and music from places the Pattersons witnessed firsthand, from Chicago to India to China. Enjoy outdoor fun and hands-on learning, engage in activities like nature walks, science investigations, group games, creative dramatics, puppetry and more! Enjoy the present as we explore the past at Ardenwood Historic Farm.

Broadway Bound: Wicked

Wicked is a musical that tells the untold story of the witches from TheWizardofOz, focusing on the friendship between Elphaba, the “Wicked Witch of the West,” and Glinda, the “Good Witch.” It explores themes of identity, friendship, and societal expectations. This exciting program immerses campers in the vibrant world of musical theater. Participants will explore singing, dancing, staging and acting, while gaining hands-on experience in prop and set design. Please note that all participants will take part in our show, but speaking roles are not guaranteed for everyone. Family and friends are invited to join us for the final performance, where you’ll see all the hard work come to life on stage!

Junior Rangers

Discover your inner park ranger and build outdoor skills in this fun-filled week of nature exploration and outdoor experiential learning! This week, the focus is on camping skills and outdoor adventures. Students will learn how to set up a tent and shade structure, tie simple knots, wilderness and camping skills, basic fishing skills, and how to read a compass and map. Students will assemble and take home their own survival kit!!
