Herblock Presidential Cartoon Exhibit

February

Visit Herblock’s exhibit this month, featuring thirteen presidents over seven decades with his characteristic humor, intelligence, and a passion for good government. (In person)

AgeGuide (ADRN) Hours

Wednesdays, 9:00am-1:00pm

Adults 60+ and their caregivers may come for walk-in appointments with a certified representative on health, transportation, housing, and financial resources available for seniors in Lake County.

AARP Tax Help

The Library hosts AARP Tax Aides to prepare and e-file your state and federal taxes on Thursday afternoons and Friday mornings. To make an appointment online, go to fremontlibrary.org/taxes or call the Library for assistance with appointments. Call 224-424-3118 for any questions for tax preparers.

DIY Taxes

Thursdays, 6:00-8:00pm

Patrons with an income of $84,000 or less in 2024 may complete their tax returns online for free with an IRS-certified counselor on hand for questions. Computers and a printer will be provided. Basic computer skills required. (In person)
