Expanded Appointment Times

The lighting project has progressed enough for us to be able to expand computer, scan/fax and notary appointments to occur hourly. These appointments are for Fremont Cardholders only. Call or chat with us to make an appointment. Walk-ins may come for an appointment at the top of the hour, and must have their Fremont Library card in hand.

AARP Tax Aide Service

This year the Tax Aides are offering their free tax e-filing service for seniors and low-income residents remotely. Call 224-424-0390 to leave a voicemail or email S40051024@aarpfoundation.org to make an appointment. In either message they are asking you to give your name, phone number, email address (if available) and whether or not you have access to a scanner/printer at home. Once you are contacted with an appointment you will go to the Libertyville Civic Center at 135 W. Church Street to get your documents scanned; your taxes will be electronically filed by the Tax Aide Service.
