The library will close at 5pm on Monday, Nov. 2, and it will open only for election business from 6am to 7pm on Tuesday, Nov. 3. All library services will be suspended to allow as many people as possible access to the polling place to vote. The library will reopen on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 10am after a deep cleaning overnight.

Online Youth Programs Maker Challenge: Leaf Art
Oct. 19 – Nov. 1 Grades K-5. Create art using leaves. Trace them, glue them, paint them, the only limit is your imagination. Contest runs Oct. 19-Nov. 1. The winner will be announced the following week. Include your name, grade, home address, and a photo or video of your art in an email to kobrian@fremontlibrary.org with the subject line Leaf Art.

Good and Ghosty Family Costume Contest Oct. 22 – 31
Take a photo of your costume and send it to rcampbell@ fremontlibrary.org with the subject line “Family Costume Contest.” Several winners will receive free books and other treats! Grades 5 and under, and the adults in their families, are welcome to participate; teens in grades 6-12 should participate in the Teen Costume Contest instead.
