Maker Challenge: Pumpkin Art Oct. 5 - 18
Grades K-5. Create art using a pumpkin. Carve it, paint it, use it in a sculpture, the only limit is your imagination. Contest runs October 5-18. The winner will be announced the following week. Include your name, grade, home address, and a photo or video of your art in an email to kobrian@fremontlibrary.org with the subject line Pumpkin Art.

"Powerful" Pumpkins: Outdoor Event Oct. 14, 4:30pm
Grades 3-5 with an adult. Build a battery using the fruits of the season! Masks are required for all participants. Social distancing and capacity limits enforced. Please call to register.

Grades 6-12: Show us your best decorated pumpkin! Feel free to paint, carve, tape, or decorate in any other creative way. The contest runs October 5-18. Winner will receive a $20 gift card to a place of their choice. Teen Fall Plate Take and Make Friday, Oct. 16 Grades 6-12. Make a bat plate from Ceramics for You.
Register and pick up your materials at the library October 12-16. Return your completed plate by Monday, October 19th. Registration and email required for pick-up information. If you are registered and cannot pick up your project, PLEASE let us know so that we can give your registered spot to another teen. Thank you!
