The Daygard Group of Companies include NVOCCs Freight Movers International (“FMI”) and Cargo Movers International (“CMI”), as well as the Customs clearance division, Daygard Clearances.

In 2003 FMI was formed to primarily handle imports from China and by 2004 FMI had expanded to include imports and exports to/from many areas and carrying for various sized freight forwarders including some multi-nationals.

Over time relationships were built with some of the biggest agents in their respective countries leading to the formation of CMI. While groupage containers (of LCL) form the backbone of the company there has been rapid growth in FCL services during the past 3 years leading to improved buying rates with carriers and better rates for clients.

In under 13 years the Daygard Group has become one of the largest independent NVOCCs in the UK covering all major trade lanes and with more direct weekly services than most in the market. The Daygard Group provides logistics solutions and services tailored to meet their customer’s needs.
