The Camera

The camera you use to film your ASMR video will determine the quality of the video. Depending on your preferred ASMR style, the video quality may not matter as much. It is recommended to use a proper camera rather than a phone camera when filming ASMR. Â

The Microphone

The Microphone plays a key role in the making of your ASMR video. It provides your listener with that crisp, clean sound that you so desire. Some of the best ASMR microphones include a boom microphone, an Audio technica microphone, or a Blue Yeti.

Setup

Creating ASMR videos require a very

quiet, peaceful setting in order for the viewer to be able to focus completely on your ASMR. To achieve this setup, make a plan in advance. To begin, your camera and other necessary equipment should be up close and personal,

so the viewer feels that all the attention is truly on them. Next, any necessary materials, such as food or brushes, should be within arms reach of your seat in order to limit the amount of movement and miscellaneous noise in your ASMR video.
