This collection is inspired by the contrast between the elegance of the masquerade and the untamed spirit of the hare. Living in Kent, close to the French border, I’ve been inspired by both British and French culture, where roses are a shared symbol of beauty and tradition. During visits to French brocantes, I was first drawn to the ornate masks and costumes that sparked my fascination with the theme of the masquerade. The charm of the châteaux and the romantic character of these markets— now popular in the UK—further shaped the aesthetic of the collection. The designs bring together elements of nature and theatrical costume, exploring themes of mystery, transformation, and grace.
