I began carving small rubber erasers as relief prints for a 100-day Instagram project, #onegoodshapefor2021, as a way to slow down and explore simple shapes. I created 100 stamps, then set them aside for years. When I revisited them, I realized they could become striking fabric designs, and IMPRINT was born. I kept the shapes hand-printed in solid black to preserve their texture, pairing them with loose, vibrant watercolors to add warmth and depth while honoring their simplicity.
