I draw much inspiration from my garden and surrounding areas around lakes and rivers where we live in Berkshire. From my studio I observe jays, woodpeckers, blue tits, magpies and the occasional nuthatch coming to the bird feeder.

Swans, kingfishers and herons are seen on my daily walks with our dog. It is such a privilege to live in a semi-rural location in England, and it is only natural that birds and flowers appear in my work. Working on this textile collection was a joy, I cannot wait to see them used in quilting and sewn creations.
