Transport Deputy Freeborn County is accepting applications for the position of Transport Deputy. This position is responsible for transportation and protection of detainees; performing courtroom security duties; ensuring detainees and the public are safe at all times while in the Government Center; responding to emergencies and providing assistance required to detainees or staff; requesting assistance of other emergency personnel as needed; performing a variety of related court duties to include assisting in securing court rooms and testifying in court proceedings as required. Applicant must have an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement or relevant field and one year of law enforcement experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. Applicant must be a Licensed Peace Officer in the State of Minnesota and possess a valid Minnesota driver’s license. Minimum starting salary is $18.85/Hr. Here are some helpful tips for welcoming all guests to the table regardless of food allergies or intolerances they may have. First, focus on foods that are naturally free of allergies and plan your menu around those items. This saves you from having to buy alternatives like gluten-free bread or dairy-free cheese that may alter the taste of your traditional recipes. Ask your guests for suggestions. Those living with food allergies know their diets best. They can Rachel Breneman offer good suggestions and may be willing to bring their own alternatives for some of the dishes. Registered Dietitian If it is a potluck get-together, request that all your guests bring print-outs of the recipes. That way everyone knows what ingredients are in the dishes, and if they love it they have the recipe to make it themselves. It’s a win-win! Ask your Hy-Vee dietitian for suggestions. We would be happy to help you find allergy-friendly foods and suggest allergy-free recipes to make your dinner party a success. Food allergies can be tricky if you are not used to preparing meals without dairy, gluten or eggs. Remember to check with your guests on the severity of their food allergies. Here are some helpful tips for welcoming all guests to the table regardless of food allergies or intolerances they may have. First, focus on foods that are naturally free of allergies and plan your menu around those items. This saves you from having to buy alternatives like gluten-free bread or dairy-free cheese that may alter the taste of your traditional recipes. Ask your guests for suggestions. Registered Dietitian If it is a potluck get-together, request that all your guests bring print-outs of the recipes.
