3Tackling Rising Healthcare Costs — Skyrocketing health insurance costs are sinking families.

MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE

People simply cannot afford this anymore. I voted to save you money by cutting health insurance tax in half, and ending executive bonuses at Minnesota’s failed healthcare exchange. We have much more to do!

3Respecting Your Pocketbook — I voted for nearly $900 million in tax relief for middle

class families, seniors, veterans, farmers, and more. With the farming and overall economy struggling, we need tax relief instead of starting expensive new government programs.

3Taking Care of Our Seniors — To ensure quality care for our seniors, I voted to increase

funding for our nursing homes by $138 million. This new funding has allowed nursing homes in our area to raise wages and provide better care to our parents and grandparents.

3Making College Affordable — I understand the importance of

education, which is why I voted to freeze and lower tuition at Minnesota state colleges and universities like Riverland Community College in Albert Lea. Next, we must get to the root cause of the rapid increase in college tuition.
