QUALITY CONTROL AUDITOR II THIRD SHIFT - AUSTIN PLANT This Quality Control Auditor II position covers vacation relief for Quality Control Auditors I and II and the QC Clerical Assistant. The work schedule for this position is 3rd shift (11:00 pm to 8:00 am or 8:00 pm to 8:00 am depending on coverage needs) Monday through Friday. Weekend work is required. Overtime is probable.
COMPETITIVE PAY & BENEFITS PACKAGE RESPONSIBILITIES: The person in this position:
• Performs pre-operative inspection of plant and determines acceptability of sanitation process. • Represents company in USDA relations at pre-op. • Audits label verification paperwork. • Covers in Q.C. Lab. • Recaps audit information and other data collected on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. • Assists QC Supervision in tasks and projects. • Handles other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Demonstrated use of strong organizational skills in a fast paced environment. • Ability to work well independently and as a team member. • Demonstrated problem solving skills. • Good computer skills including Lotus Notes, LIMS, AS400, Microsoft Word and Excel. • Withstand long periods of time working on your feet and walking on damp slippery floors. • Ability to work in a climate controlled environment with temperatures ranging from 30-40°F. Currently Has an Opening For a Canning Room Mechanic/Label Line Operator This will be a split hire position with approximately 6 months in distribution and 6 months in the plant. Distribution: Candidate will possess technical abilities to operate a Label Machine and other Labeling equipment. Must also be willing to operate a fork lift and possess the ability to complete detailed paperwork. Plant: Candidate will be responsible for maintenance and repair of canning room equipment. Desire an individual that has some experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors. Basic computer skills and PLC knowledge a plus. Knowledge of hand and power tools, welding and millwright skills desirable. Candidates must also be able to work weekends and overtime hours during the summer months. Two Year Technical Degree or experience in Maintenance helpful but not required. Must demonstrate ability to manage multiple priorities along with strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to function in a team environment.
