Come to the Virginia Credit Union Stadium for some actionpacked fun as we transform the park into a Nerf battlefield. Nerf Mania will feature play for all ages. Bring your own Nerf gun(s) and protective eye wear. We will supply the Nerf bullets (basic Nerf bullets). Players must wear protective eyewear. Staff reserves the right to deny use of any participant’s Nerf gun that they feel is too powerful. Pre-registration is recommended.
Campout In The Park

Friday, October 20 at 5 pm – Saturday, October 21 at 10am Motts Run Reservoir
$65/$75 for a family of 4 (residents/non-residents), $20/each add. individual, Pre-registration is required.
Bring out the family for a fun night in the park. You will have the chance to camp at Motts Run Reservoir, enjoy s’mores on the campfire, and more. Space is limited so register early. All meals and activity materials are provided but you are responsible for your own tent and camping supplies (a supply list and additional information will be emailed upon registration). Registration closes Sunday, October 15, 2023.

To honor the contributions of our United States Veterans Saturday, November 11 starting at 10:00am
Procession Route: Along Washington Avenue from Mary Ball Street to George Street.

Veterans and Veteran Groups are invited to register to be in the procession. No commercial, for-profits, nor political campaigns will be permitted in the procession.
Public (family members and non-veterans) are invited to view the procession along Washington Avenue and then join the Veteran’s Day Commemoration at the Fredericksburg Area War Memorial (George St.). Free admission to the procession and the commemoration. Held rain or shine.

This year’s theme is “Christmas Under the Sea.” The parade is held along Caroline and Princess Anne Street in Downtown Fredericksburg. Come early & stay late!! Enjoy downtown shops & restaurants before & after!

Free Admission, public invited. Dress for cold weather and wear walking shoes.
Registration for entries/floats is open August 1 through October 17. Spaces are limited to 80 entries and fill on a first-come, first-served basis.
Parking restrictions along the parade route begin at 2:00pm - 9:00pm on December 2nd. There will be signs in place to indicate the restrictions along the parade route. Details on the parade website.

Children’s Christmas Tree Lighting and Jingle Bell Sing-Along

Meet Santa and other holiday characters and make fun holiday crafts. Bring your jingle bells and jingle along with the live holiday music. The Fredericksburg Annual Children’s Tree Lighting program is FREE and open to the public.
