H.A. served in the Afghan military for more than 20 years and collaborated with Americans in fighting the Taliban. When Kabul fell, H.A. had to flee the country, as his military service and political views made him a target. H.A. was evacuated on a military plane which brought him through Dubai, Spain, Germany, Croatia, and eventually to a military base in New Jersey.

That is when Fredrikson attorneys Jake Levine, Ben Sharp , and Jenny Mojica stepped in to help. Their dedicated work led to an approval of H.A.’s asylum case and allowed him to move on to the next phase of his life journey.
