Parade
It will take place in downtown Fredericksburg, as usual, from 10 a.m. to noon.

After the parade, events shift back to the fair grounds site where the gates open at 1 p.m.
Concerts
Music will kick off the weekend on Thursday, with a Tejano night starting at 7 p.m. Free concerts will be provided by Erik Y Massores.
The full concert schedule and entertainment list is below:
• Friday: Jake Hoover & The Outsiders at 8 p.m. • Saturday: Lindsey Lane, Jack Ingram and David Lee Murphy. Times are TBD.
Carnival
The carnival and midway is slated to return to the Fair Grounds.
However, there is a charge for the carnival and midway, which will open Thursday and continues through the weekend.
Races
Races and mobile betting are a staple of the summer in Gillespie.
There will be eight days of racing for the 2022 season, and will open with the July Fourth Race Meet on Saturday and Sunday, July 2-3.
Viewers will be able to place bets from their phones while on the premises, meaning they will need to physically be on the grounds to use this option.
A Night in Old Fredericksburg is tentatively slated for July 16.
