HOW TO VOTE The Top 5 in each category are listed in alphabetical order, as opposed to number of votes received in the last voting round, so the contest begins with a clean slate. You may vote once per day in each category by going to FrederickNewsPost.com/BOB and clicking the link at the top. Last year, we had some pretty closely contested races, so be sure to show your favorites some love by voting daily. Let all your neighbors, friends and family know they can vote by sharing on social media and by email right through the voting website.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT After voting closes Friday, Oct. 23, we’ll tally the ballots. The contestant that gets

the most votes in their category will be declared the winner, and those with the second and third most votes will be named finalists, in no specific order. If there’s a tie in any position, we’ll announce both when we publish all the winners and finalists in another special publication and online at FrederickNewsPost.com/BOB later this year.
