A Letter From
STEVE SCHMIDT

I’d be remiss if I didn’t take this opportunity to remind you to make sure your system is ready to keep you and your family warm and safe this coming winter. In this age of apps, TikTok, and social distancing, I know it’s hard to keep close relationships with your service providers. I want everyone to know how much we really do value the good and close relationships we have with you, our customers.
We have won the county-wide FNP contest for “Best of the Best” for 7 years in a row, and with your help we can win again this year. (Follow us on Facebook or Instagram for details.)
Thank you for your continued support and for being a part of the Frederick Air Family.
The days of reporting that we had a busy but routine summer are long gone. Every season presents new challenges that put our team to the test in ways we couldn’t have imagined. Safety protocols, supply chain challenges, soaring prices for material and fuel; the list goes on.
New technologies and efficiency standards are established, tested, or implemented every day.
This summer we won Frederick County’s “Best Places to Work” (Medium-Large Employer) by the Office of Economic Development. This means that not only are we exceeding our customers’ expectations; we are, at the same time, exceeding our employees’ expectations. I have always sought to treat our team with respect and dignity to make our company a great place to work. The benefits to having a great job are innumerable and we are proud to be a local exceptional example. Everyone at Frederick Air has a career, not a job.

2022 Best Places to Work Award
FREDERICK AIR RECEIVES
The Frederick County Best Places to Work campaign recognizes the county’s most innovative, creative, and forwardthinking employers. Winners of this coveted title provide outstanding benefits, programs and perks for their employees.

The Frederick County Workforce and Economic Development department has announced that Frederick Air has been named as one of the 2022 Best Places to Work in Frederick, Maryland. This award is given to businesses that demonstrate a commitment to their employees through exceptional work environment, policies, and benefits. Frederick Air is one of only five businesses to receive this award and the only one in its category.
“This award is especially rewarding to me considering that one of my main goals starting Frederick Air over 30 years ago was to simply have a great place to work; somewhere I was appreciated, respected and treated well,” said Steve Schmidt, President of Frederick Air.
He continued, “I’m so blessed to be able to provide that environment for our entire team, it is the foundation of our success. Being recognized for being a great place for someone to work and to build a career is truly an honor.”
