DEPARTMENT UPDATE FIRST PITCH CONTEST Brewers Partnership Perks

On August 18th, the Marketing Department held the "First Pitch Brewers Contest" to determine who would represent FRED by throwing the first pitch at the Brewers game on September 8th. This virtual contest was made up of three rounds. "Round 1" consisted of submitting a spirit photo to be eligible to participate in "Round 2". "Round 2" consisted of four games, which required both skill and luck. The winner from each game in "Round 2" then moved on to "Round 3", Brewers Trivia.

After 10 intense trivia questions, a winner was named: Joey Wisniewski! We are so excited for Joey to have this opportunity and are grateful for our Brewers Partnership this season!

What Makes Them Shine

Over the past couple of years, Ridge View has been working hard on extensive renovations to the common spaces, apartments, and amenities. The complete apartment renovations include new cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, new fixtures, hard surface flooring, and new bathroom renovations. Ridge View is also known for using extremely creative resident renewal campaigns. Some of the renewal ideas have included: delivering a Baby Yoda figurine with a card saying, “Yoda Best” and sending a ghost key chain with a reminder stating, “Don’t ghost us, renew today!”

Celebrating 50 years has never looked better at Ridge View Apartments!

Foxcroft Apartments I will be celebrating my two-year anniversary with FRED this month.

I started as a tech 2 at Creekwood and was given the opportunity in March 2020 to lead Foxcroft. I have really enjoyed the challenge of having my own property.

Coronavirus has certainly made things difficult at times, but with the help of my awesome team, Foxcroft has grown tremendously. Our relationships with our residents have grown stronger, our property looks better than ever, and we have even added amenities. I really enjoy getting to know my residents and making their apartment truly feel like home. When I'm not working at Foxcroft, I can be found at home with my wife, Sierra, working on our new (to us) home. I love my coworkers here at FRED and look forward to what lies ahead for Foxcroft and FRED!

PROJECT UPDATE THE 85 AT MAPLE GROVE An Exciting Work in Progress

Starting in late August 2020, The 85 has already completed two "Stacked Flats" buildings and is on track to deliver one apartment building, several townhomes, and the clubhouse this year. The remainder of the project will be delivered in 2022.

The 85 has been in the thick of COVID throughout its construction process, causing permit delays and challenging the team with the most severe lumber supply chain disruption in recent history.

Nevertheless, the project team was able to push and have the critical roads and utilities installed before winter, and, because of FRED's relationship in the marketplace, the team was able to overcome the lumber disruption. The team now constantly manages and controls other product delivery disruptions and labor issues as leadership and control of the subcontractor work force is even more important than ever before. The 85 contains a varied mix of units for all types of renters, including a three story apartment product with underground parking, a stacked flats product with garage parking and private entry, and a single-family townhome style product. With its first residents moving in last month, The 85 is an exciting work in progress for Fiduciary!

SPOTLIGHT! July Winner

HANNAH WHITE Leasing | The Bevy

Earl and I were doing a quick review in the conference room at The Bevy office yesterday and had an opportunity to overhear an interaction between a resident and Hannah. The resident in A-320 came down with a jarred bug, I gathered this resident is not the easiest and doesn’t shy away from bringing things to management attention. Hannah was perfect in the way she reacted and responded. She listened, didn’t argue and easily moved the discussion from accusatory and argumentative to friendly. The resident went from standing and almost yelling to sitting down, talking quietly and having friendly conversation. It was very impressive. I’ve admired the way you, Kirstin, are able to put on the calm and steady face and attitude when dealing with problematic residents and it’s clear that Hannah has learned from your lead.
