DEPARTMENT UPDATE CONSTRUCTION BEGINS IN SOUTHWEST MADISON THE 85 AT MAPLE GROVE Named for FRED's founding year, The 85 at Maple Grove has entered the early stages of construction. The team broke ground earlier this fall in Madison at a site located off of PD and Maple Grove Drive. While some aspects are in the permit-gathering phase, the site has established the construction zone (aerial view, right). The finished 85 community will have a total of 286 units with 212 apartments, 50 townhomes, and 24 stacked flats. Plans also include a pool and sun deck, retention ponds, and more.

The team is looking forward to the first building opening next Summer, targeted for June 1st or July 1st of 2021!

PROPERTY SPOTLIGHT

WHAT MAKES THEM SHINE High Bluff developed its first 72 townhomes in 2016-2017. The next 130 are currently under construction and slated to be completed in August of 2021. This second phase of townhomes began opening this summer and some great amenities were added to the community, such as a pool with loungers and sun deck, a full clubhouse, a pet spa, and a brand new office! The team has had great success in 2020, maintaining current occupancy at or near 100% monthly and hitting all lease-up goals so far in Phase II! This hard-working team consists of Evan Diece (Property Manager), Allen Parnell (Lead Maintenance), Jim Graziano (Utility Technician), Kasey Roszak (Leasing), Madeline Hillner (Leasing), all under the watchful eye of our Supervisor, Rachel Schinkowitch! High Bluff earned FRED Property of the Year in 2018, making it one of the most desired communities to live at in the north shore area!

Q: Share about your family, a talent you have, a hobby you enjoy, or something you do regularly outside of FRED. I have 3 daughters, one dog, and 2 cats that I am allergic to but my husband of 10 years loves them, so they have now become family! I love to spend time with my 3 busy grandchildren; our favorite activity is to go to the park. They call me “Super Grandma” because my energy doesn’t run out, but when I just want to relax, I usually choose to color by number.
