Every summer, my parents and siblings rent a house at a resort in the Dells. It’s a wonderful time for us all to have lots of one-on-one time with each other as we all relax. There’s lots of swimming in the pool and board games, which, as anyone with siblings knows, isn’t competitive at all! In true Wisconsin fashion, we all take turns providing a meal which ends up following a tradition of expecting the same item each year. Credit goes to my wife for doing most of the work on getting our yearly meal of tacos ready (now how do we get a copy of the newsletter sent to her so I get credit for saying that?). It’s a great time to be together!

The second of the Seasons line, Randall Road, started in August 2019. The last building was delivered early in late March 2021. Despite supply chain issues due to the pandemic, property stabilization was finished in May 2021, five months ahead of schedule. Leasing efforts began from a leasing trailer just as COVID-19 restrictions were being implemented around the country. In response, a protocol for in-person hard hat tours was quickly established, which went very well. Randall Road offers luxury apartment homes including studios (30), one bedrooms (120), two bedrooms (120), and three bedrooms (30), each with private entrances, in-home washer and dryers, designer finishes and more. It is also the first FRED development in the Chicagoland area, officially making FRED a multi-state portfolio. In its first winter, a resident submitted her photo of a frozen tree to WGN local news that was featured by local celebrity Meteorologist Tom Skilling. This meant the Randall Road community was now home to a 'famous tree!' on social media. Residents also loved the 'Dive-in Movie' Grand Opening event, featuring an inflatable projection screen. Because leasing has been so successful, the second phase has begun early!

Corporate | GlassBlu Helpdesk/IT Support I called Sheretha in June when I had a move-in for a newly created furnished unit and I completely forgot to make sure the TV worked. It did not. I did my best to get it working but we were missing the HDMI cord. Sheretha drove to Synergy (after already working hours at Forte for their move-ins) and she spent 20 minutes explaining over and over again to the elderly man that he did not get the golf channel but he would after she upgraded their account Monday (with the extra fee being paid by him). She was patient and calm and saved me from having a very upset new move-in (if he would not have been able to watch the PGA - we found it on a network channel). This is not the first time Sheretha has helped us on a weekend!!
