Kingdom Come

Kingdom Come Chris Montgomery | October 11,2026 (Luke 11: 1-4) One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.” He said to them, “When you pray, say: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread, and forgive our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.” (Matthew 6:33) But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. “The seeking of the Kingdom of God is the chief business of the Christian life.” • Johnathan Edwards How To Pray For The Kingdom Come: 1. We are to pray for an awareness of the present reality of the kingdom. 2. We are to pray for the invasion of the Kingdom not an escape route from this world. 3. We are to understand that we find God’s will within God’s in-breaking Kingdom.
