I gave them my statutes and made known to them my rules, by which, if a person follows them, he shall live. Moreover, I gave them my Sabbaths as a sign between me and them, so that they might know that I am the Lord who sanctifies them. Quick Summary: God saved a group of people. They rebelled. God remained faithful and promised life to the children of the group. The children rebelled. The greatest challenge of scripture is to know God. What is our response? Love Him with all your heart. Pursue Him. Be careful to obey Him.
