“For the last few years I’ve lived in apartments and townhouses in built-up areas but here I can walk out the door and be in a park, surrounded by greenery, with the beach and the river right there,” she said.

“I also love how pet friendly it is; I rarely go out without meeting a dog, which just gives me another excuse to get outside.”

The expanse of lush greenery was a drawcard for Ron and Sheila too.

“Having previously lived on acreage, in a semi-rural area, we’ve enjoyed Hamilton Reach’s proximity to public transport, the variety of shops, restaurants and cinemas, plus the green public areas.

“We look forward to less mowing too!”
