Mississippi leads the nation in-home fire fatalities and numerous individuals have perished recently. On September 9, 2019 in Clinton, MS, a father and son died in a house fire. Therefore, with this sobering news, St. Luke M.B. Church wants to help save lives. St. Luke will present a Fire Safety Workshop on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 @ 6:00 p.m. at the church located 191 W. Bruce Dr. Ackerman, MS 39735. Fire personnel will discuss why families should develop fire escape plans to prevent needless loss of lives. Pastor Levon Murphy Sr. and the St. Luke M.B. Church Family are extending an invitation to all the surrounding churches and communities to participate in this life saving event.
