Several weeks ago, at a canning workshop Mount Calvary Church, an individual stated, “I would love to learn the art of making biscuits from scratch.” Immediately, this request caused the Winston County Self Help Cooperative members to develop a plan of action to fulfill the appeal. On Wednesday, September 11, 2019, 5:30 pm at the Winston County’s Extension Office 460 Vance Street Louisville, MS 39339, a class facilitated by Rosie Harris, WCSHC will occur. This announcement serves as an invitation for all to join in and learn how to prepare fluffy and tasteful biscuits for their families to enjoy at any meal. At the conclusion, participants will partake of biscuits, in addition to locally made jam and cured bacon. Indeed, this class is filling up quickly.
