Mississippi has led the nation in the number of home fire fatalities for the past twenty years. This sobering information prompted Pastor Cedric Wooten and the Bethany Presbyterian Church Family to host a fire safety workshop on Monday, September 16, 2019, 6pm at the church located 3083 Bethany Ebenezer Road, Louisville, Ms. Anthony Jernigan and Brad Kennedy of the High Point Volunteer Fire Department will share tips to help prevent home fires. Jim MacAdory of the Winston County Extension Office will present the fire-wise program. This presentation will demonstrate how to keep homes and communities safe from forest fires. We are extending an invitation to all the surrounding churches and communities to participate in this life saving event.
