REFUND INFORMATION
Once a program begins it is not our policy to refund enrollment fees. If an instructor becomes ill and the class must be canceled and not rescheduled, refunds will be made. All refunds are subject to approval by the Business Services Director and are subject to State Board of Accounts claim procedures. If approved, any refund - less a $7 service charge - will be given. This applies to a credit on a household account. Check refunds may take up to 5-6 weeks to process. There are no refunds for memberships.
CANCELLATION OF PROGRAMS
Programs listed will be offered unless the number enrolled falls under the minimum that is listed. After programs are underway, cancellation will occur only if the instructor is sick and unable to attend. To check on cancellation of classes, call (317) 736-3689.
WEATHER CANCELLATION POLICY
When Franklin Schools are on a 2-hour delay due to weather, we will have morning aerobic classes as scheduled. Other morning programs will be on a 1-hour delay. When Franklin Schools are closed due to weather, we will not have any of our morning classes but you need to call to see if afternoon and evening classes are still on.
PHOTO POLICY
If photos are taken of participants in a class, during a special event, or at our park facilities, they are for parks and recreation usage only and may be used in the park brochures, flyers, or on the parks website.

PROVINCE PARK DOG PARK
Annual membership passes to the Province Park Dog Park are issued for a one-year period. There are a limited number of membership passes sold each year and memberships will be sold on a firstcome, first-serve basis. All owners/members must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and present proof of current vaccinations for their dogs as part of the membership application process.
Members may visit the Province Park Dog Park during regular park hours, from dawn to dusk. An annual dog park membership consists of a collar tag for each dog and a gate access card for the owner. The collar tag must be visible on the dog while using the off leash zone. Membership is $40 per dog. Additional dog tag is $15.
FRANKLIN ACTION SKATE PARK
SOUTH MAIN ST.
Franklin Action Skate Park contains seven steel elements for biking and skateboarding. The park is connected to the Historic Greenway Trail and offers ample parking.

beeson HALL
Beeson Hall is the premier location for your next catered special event. The hall offers 5,000 square feet of space for wedding receptions, business meetings, corporate parties, educational meetings, anniversary celebrations, or your other special event. The hall will accommodate 220 with a dance floor, 250 without a dance floor, or 350 seated lecture style guests. The hall has a beautiful wooden floor for dancing, food service area and a special location for D.J.
BEESON HALL RENTALS
1. Beeson Hall rentals allow customers to arrange for food options of their choice or you can bring in your own food.
2. Rental fee is $150 per hour ($200 Fri-Sun) plus 7% Indiana sales tax with no minimum or maximum rental time. Set up and tear down time must be included within the rental time. Any event occurring after the Recreation Center is closed will be charged an additional $25 per hour for an After Hours Supervisor. Use of the Beeson Hall kitchen is included in the rental price.
3. Any event serving alcohol must hire a licensed security professional (off-duty police officer) to be onsite during serving times. Cost is to be the sole responsibility of the renter.
4. Caterers will be required to meet the City of Franklin insurance requirements, State of Indiana alcohol catering license requirements (if serving alcohol) and be approved prior to events in Beeson Hall.

Identify the facility you would like to reservre, and click on the Reserve or Request button. Click View Availability to view the facility’s availability. Once you select your desired reservation date, follow the prompts to check out

CULTURAL ARTS & RECREATION CENTER
The Cultural Arts & Recreation Center (CARC) at 396 Branigin Blvd. offers 30,000 square feet of space for programs and activities offered by our department.
Our Fitness Center is available for those who want a challenging workout and is ideal for anyone wanting to tone up and gain strength. The walking/ running track is also available for improving your cardiovascular fitness. The Recreation Center offers space for dance/theater, creative arts, preschool programs, exercise, and conditioning. Facility membership cards or a daily fee are required for the use of the recreation center.

We have a variety of cardiovascular equipment including a Stair Climber, punching bag, Pro-Power weight lifting equipment, treadmills, and free weights in our Fitness Center. You must be at least 14 years of age to qualify for a fitness center membership. Individuals under 18 must have a consent form signed by a parent/guardian. Membership is valid for one year from date of purchase. A valid facility membership is required to purchase a fitness center membership. Fitness Center orientations are available.

Silver Sneakers and Renew Active are (2) programs that if eligible, members can qualify for a free facility and fitness membership at our location. Bring your Medicare Health insurance cards to our location, and our front desk staff will see if your isurance plan covers Silver Sneakers or Renew Active programs. You can contact your insurance company, and they will provide a member ID number to bring to our location. As long as your insurance continues to cover one of these programs, we will continue to update your membership for free at our location.

SIMPLE RULES OF THE HOUSE
1. All patrons must check in at the front desk. Members must scan their membership cards. Guests must pay the daily guest fee(s).

4. The second level is for wellness walking and running. Children under 14 are not allowed.
5. Bottled beverages are permitted in the fitness room and gymnasium. All food must remain in the cafe area.
6. This is a SMOKE-FREE FACILITY. Tobacco products are not allowed in the facility or on park property.
7. All members and guests are required to wear shirts while in the CARC facility and fitness room. 8. Franklin Parks & Recreation is NOT responsible for unattended personal property.

Two racquetball courts are located at the CARC and are FREE to members. The racquetball court reservations may be made 24 hours in advance by calling (317) 736-3689.

Two courts are available at the CARC on Tuesdays and Fridays from 9am-11am and Thursday evenings from 5-6:30pm for $5/person.

The CARC gymnasium is available for Open Gym Volleyball on Thursday evenings. Open Gym Volleyball times are 6:30-8:00pm. Participants must have a valid CARC membership to participate (minimum of 6 participants is required).

Welcome to CycleFit! Indoor cycling classes provide workouts that burn calories and improve endurance and strength. The experienced instructor will begin by sizing you up on a stationary bike, then leading the class for 45 minutes with the goal of you leaving the class thinking “That was a great workout!

Aqua 2.0 is not a traditional aqua class. We use a variety of equipment like kickboards, aqua gloves, dumbbells, Frisbees, bands, noodles, and the pool wall to get the heart pumping and tone your muscles. If you’re ready for a unique workout and love water, this class is for you!
PLATINUM ZUMBA
A fitness program geared toward Baby Boomers, persons over 50, and those with limited mobility. This class takes Basic Zumba to a lower intensity level and can be achieved by standing or sitting.
F-ABS PIYO
Learn to utilize your lunch hour to rest your mind and body for the busy afternoon ahead. This 45-minute workout will use balls, bands, light weights, the wall, and bodily resistance to strengthen, lengthen, and stretch your muscles. You’ll leave feeling like a newer, improved version of yourself!
TOTAL BODY RESET
Ever wish you could have a class that focuses on building cardiovascular endurance, increasing lean muscle mass, and decreasing body fat? Now you have! DISCOVER SCUBA
For those who want to test the waters and try scuba, this is the course for you! Get a glimpse of what you can expect to experience in the underwater world as well as what you could expect to learn in the Open Water Scuba Diver course. During this program, you will go through the basic safety procedures for enjoyable scuba diving under the watchful eye of an active instructor. You will also be introduced to basic scuba equipment followed by an underwater tour in the pool. This class is in partnership with Ray Scuba Diving.
**A Diver Medical Questionnaire must be completed prior to class. Session dates and times will vary.
Ages: 5-13
Swim lessons are not just about swimming skills. They are mostly about water safety. We will aim to help your child become a strong swimmer, but we want them to be safe first. Other skills will be practiced, but these are the main skills that will be assessed to move up a level. Our instructor-led swim lessons are only for ages 5 through 13.
*Goggles, nose plugs, fins, or life jackets will not be allowed or used during swim lessons until they reach Level 6. We want to teach your child to be ok without these in the case of accidentally falling in the water and therefore be able to think clearly on how to get to safety or call for help.

Fun Fridays are held monthly at the Cultural Arts & Recreation Center. Willow Creek Band will be performing during the Fun Fridays.

Celebrate Easter with Franklin Parks & Recreation at our annual Easterr Egg Hunt! Over 10,000 eggs are spread out over the lawn at the DriveHubler. com Amphitheatre at Youngs Creek Park for kids of all ages to hunt. Eggs are filled with various candies and prizes. This event is free, and registration is not required.
