This is our fifth year at The Franklin Academy and we are consistently impressed year after year with the faculty and teachers’ focus on improving curriculum, implementing new STEM Education, providing fun opportunities for families to connect, and keeping class sizes small. Education is one of the foundational components of a child’s life that shapes their future. We give out of thanks and we give because we think it’s the greatest gift we could give our children.

The Franklin Academy each year. That means 24% of each child’s tuition comes from generous donations. Tax-advantaged charitable gifts provide financial stability, outstanding staff and the many resources necessary for an optimal educational environment.

The Franklin Academy Annual Fund is a way for parents, past parents, alumni, grandparents, faculty, staff, trustees, and friends to support the yearly priorities of the school. Your contribution supports innovative changes and investments that take place in real-time. Contributions to The Franklin Academy Annual Fund support the growth of our school by supporting the superior education, small class sizes, high-quality staff, robust STEM curriculum, and cutting-edge resources that help our students thrive. As a testament to the value of the Franklin community’s support, the 2022-2023 academic year has been a landmark for The Franklin Academy, with the largest enrollment in the school’s nearly 50-year history. As the Academy continues to prosper, it is even more imperative we continue to build a stable financial foundation. WHAT YOUR DONATION SUPPORTS
PROGRAM ENRICHMENT
With growth comes the need to refresh and renew our academic programming by enhancing our current curriculum with the most up-to-date resources and tools. Your donated funds will assist with improving our curriculum, equipment, technology, and labs.
CAMPUS RENEWAL
Our campus consists of Markell Hall (Grades 2 - 8), Robin Hall (Preschool - Grade 1) and Holly Hall (Resource Facility). Since our humble beginning in a small basement, we have come a long way. Our beautiful campus welcomes improvements such as updated preschool playhouses, playground equipment, and outdoor seating.
OPERATING BUDGET
Donations support the Academy’s operating costs. Our tuition is artificially low; a gift to the Annual Fund is the most powerful way you can give. Contributions go directly to benefit students, faculty, staff, programs and operations.

- “Silence Dogood” was Franklin’s pen name for his first essays, written at 16.
- “Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise.” One of Franklin’s most famous quotes.
- “Spark” comes from Franklin’s kite experiment, demonstrating that lightning is electricity.
