Physical relationship of AF to Labs •For good Animal Husbandry and human comfort and health protection we require • Separation of AF from offices, conference rooms and labs – by having separate building, wing, floor or room.

• Animal rooms should occupy 50-60% of total constructed area and remaining for stores, washing, office and staff rooms, quarantine and machine rooms and corridors.

• Macro and microenvironment to be carefully looked at.
