ABOUT Francesca Owen is a British contemporary landscape and storytelling painter based in Cornwall. Francesca paints outside all year round and when it’s not possible she works back in her studio.

Inspiration comes from journeys and travel, ancient myths and her strong connection to the land and sea around her. Francesca shows her work at galleries in St Ives and Marazion.

All paintings from this collection are for sale and include in order: image, title, sizes in cms, and price of work. Couriers can be arranged for worldwide transportation. of the work.

Paintings are made using the following materials: Cornish earth pigments, Indian pigments and traditional oil paints. Often they are started and may even be finished completely outside, en plain air in Cornwall.

COURSES Francesca runs courses in Penwith, Cornwall from the Colourfields.

Natural Pigments and Landscape Painting: During her painting course, visit two historic Cornish mine sites, gather pigments and paint outside. Courses run from April to October and are 3 days at ÂŁ300 or 5 days at ÂŁ450.

Additional courses include: Self-guided residential courses Teaching, accommodation and use of indoor and outdoor studios, price upon request.
