Overview from the Senior Housemistress Welcome to our Evening and Weekend Activities booklet. Inside you will find a wide range of exciting trips, events and activities available throughout the term, offering something for every interest, whether pupils are looking to try something new, develop an existing passion or simply enjoy spending time with friends.
The booklet is divided into regular activities and one-off events, courses and trips. Activities that incur an additional charge are marked with a red pound sign. These charges will be added to the termly school bill. Places on chargeable activities must be booked by the published deadline (see page 15), using the consent and booking form available on My School Portal, where further information can also be found.
This symbol denotes a paid for activity.
One of the greatest strengths of boarding is the opportunity to build friendships beyond immediate year groups and boarding houses. We warmly encourage parents to support their children in making the most of these opportunities. The more pupils who participate, the more vibrant, welcoming and socially diverse our activities become. Sharing new experiences together, whether on a trip, learning a new skill or enjoying an evening activity, helps pupils develop confidence, broaden their horizons and create lasting memories and friendships across the boarding community.
We are proud of the breadth and variety of opportunities available this term. Every activity has been chosen with our pupils' wellbeing, enjoyment and personal development in mind, ensuring there is something to inspire every individual while strengthening the sense of community that makes boarding life so special.
Please note that the cost of trips may vary slightly depending on final participant numbers.
