MBKM Programs

The Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) is a policy of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia that gives an opportunity to students who are interested in studying outside their campus. Various programs are available, including internships that allow students learn by directly experiencing real-world issues and practicing skills in a professional setting. Students who enroll in MBKM programs can have their experience and work output during internships converted into credits in specific courses, thus allowing the MBKM programs to be in line with our curriculum. MBKM also encompasses student exchange programs which makes it possible for students to take their courses in other universities, both domestic and abroad. In the future, more forms of MBKM programs may be made available. More than just carrying out a governmental policy, our faculty implements MBKM program for its benefits to our students and the faculty itself. MBKM programs provide students with an opportunity to develop skills and obtain work experience right after graduating. MBKM programs are also operated with various external partners, thus strengthening our cooperation with them. Various collaboration agreements were established to support the MBKM programs.

MBKMHighlights-ALZI

In 2022, Alzheimer Indonesia (ALZI) hosts six of our undergradute students as part of an MBKM program. This program provides internship opportunities for students with an interest in clinical psychology. Our students were involved in various activities of ALZI. Our students had the chance to parti-cipate in some field work. Such as counseling (as a support), training, seminars, and outreach. They were also involved in the design and planning of several activities, as well as administrative work. The collaboration between ALZI and our faculty extends beyond MBKM programs. The faculty has had research collaboration with our lecturers. Several events held by ALZI also employ our lecturers as experts or speakers, providing opportunities for our lecturers to perform services to the community using their expertise.
