We’re so glad you’re here! Whether you’re new to FPC or have been part of our family for years, this Ministry Guide is designed to help you discover ways to worship, learn, serve, and grow in community with us.
Inside, you’ll find opportunities for every age and season of life—from Sunday worship and weekday Bible studies to service projects, music, and fellowship events. Many of these gatherings are open to join anytime, while others meet in short sessions throughout the year.
If you’re visiting, we invite you to explore what God is doing here in downtown San Antonio. Stop by the Ave. E or Sanctuary foyers on Sunday mornings or talk with any of our greeters—they’d love to help you find your next step. You can also visit fpcsanantonio.org for current events, livestream worship, and ways to get connected.
We hope you’ll feel at home here and experience the love of Christ through our people and ministries.

MIDPOINT – ADULTS 30-50
Centered in Christ, Growing Together
Life in your 30s, 40s, and 50s is full of transitions— careers, relationships, and questions about purpose and community. Midpoint is a new ministry beginning at FPC designed to connect adults in this season of life through fellowship, discipleship, and service.
Whether you’re single, married without kids, or somewhere in between, you’ll find encouragement and authentic community as we grow together in faith.
UPCOMING OPPORTUNITIES

FLOOD RELIEF VOLUNTEER SIGN-UP
Sign up to volunteer, donate, or access emotional and spiritual care resources at fpcsanantonio.org/relief.
The July 4 flooding of the Guadalupe River devastated families across Kerrville, Ingram, Hunt, and nearby Hill Country communities—uprooting lives and leaving lasting physical and emotional wounds. First Presbyterian Church responded first by caring for members directly affected, then by sending volunteer teams to assist neighbors with cleanup, debris removal, and encouragement.
In the Hill Country
FPC continues to serve through partnerships with:
• Mercy Chefs – Preparing and serving meals to families and first responders.
• Somebody Cares – Assisting with rebuilding homes and restoring neighborhoods.
In San Antonio
• Comfort Kits - In partnership with The Ecumenical Center, volunteers assemble care kits for those impacted and for the teams providing ongoing support. Amazon Wishlist at https://amzn.to/4mkkzoS.
• Emotional and Spiritual Care - Stephen Ministers and deacons join care teams offering hope and presence to those still recovering.
Ongoing Preparedness
• FPC Disaster Relief Task Force – A new leadership and logistics team helping our congregation stay ready to respond quickly and compassionately when future crises arise.
Rebuilding is a long road—and every volunteer, donation, and prayer makes a difference.
To volunteer, complete FPC’s Volunteer Form, then register directly with our partner organization using the link in your confirmation. Details at fpcsanantonio.org/relief.
