Shoebox Send-Off & Advent Festival

Sunday, November 13, the children had a “Woo-hoo” of a morning as we celebrated the Operation Christmas Child box collection while wearing pj's and eating breakfast tacos! We watched a video about the Samaritan’s Purse Ministry where we saw the joy on the faces of children from around the world as they opened their shoeboxes full of wonderful toys and gifts. But, this is only the beginning for these children as they are given the opportunity to hear the gospel and be discipled. A simple shoebox is changing the world one child at a time and I am so glad we were able to be a part of this.
