We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen. THE LORD’S SUPPER
The invitation to the Lord’s Supper is extended to those who trust in Jesus Christ and seek to live as His followers. Access to the table is not a right conferred upon the worthy, but a privilege given to the undeserving who come in faith, repentance and love. In preparing to receive the Sacrament, the believer is to confess sin and brokenness, to seek reconciliation with God and neighbor, and to trust in Jesus Christ for cleansing and renewal. Even one who doubts or whose trust is wavering may come to the table in order to be assured of God’s love and grace in Christ Jesus.

WORDS OF INSTITUTION COMING FORWARD TO RECEIVE
It is an honor and blessing to celebrate the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper (Holy Communion) in worship today. All those who declare Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, who have been baptized in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and who follow Him as disciples are welcome to the Lord’s table. Today, at the appointed time, the ushers will direct communicants to come forward to the table. Please wait for the usher’s instruction and come to the table by the center aisle. If you are unable to come forward, communion elements will be brought to you. At the front, please take a piece of bread and an individual cup. Return to your seat, with both the bread and the cup, by the outside aisles. Hold them until the Pastor invites the congregation to partake together. As you wait for others to be served, please use the time to pray for our neighbors and neighborhoods, our nation, our families and our church family. Remember to pray for your own growth in Jesus Christ, and lift up His name in glory. At the end of the service, please place your empty communion cups in the pew cup holders (beside the hymnal racks).

PRAY FOR AN UNREACHED PEOPLE GROUP THIS WEEK: Baha Buyang LOCATION: China
GLOBAL POPULATION: 700
The Baha Buyang practice wet-rice agriculture and catch Chinese geckos for use in Chinese medicine. The Buyang worship their ancestors, observing rituals to ensure their forefathers are taken care of in the next life. They offer food so the spirits won't go hungry and burn large amounts of paper money to break any hold of poverty that may have ensnared the dead. The Buyang are part of China's largest minority, the Zhuang; however, their language is distinct and not intelligible with other Zhuang dialects. PRAY: Pray that today’s people group listens to God’s message and believes in the good news of their salvation. Ask God to send bold workers, driven by the Holy Spirit, to go to them. Pray for an unstoppable movement to Christ among the Buyang. Pray for the authority of Christ to bind hindering spirits and lead them from darkness to light. Pray for signs and wonders, leading to the multiplication of disciples and house churches.
MINISTRY OBSTACLES: Their ancestor worship traps the Buyang in spiritual bondage, keeping them from accepting that Christ has provided for all their spiritual needs. Few Buyang have any awareness of the gospel or the reason Jesus came to earth. LEARN MORE:
