Chohee Kim is Organist and Accompanist at First Presbyterian Church in Marietta, GA since 2020. Ms. Kim holds a master degree of Organ Performance and minor in Sacred Music from University of Florida studied under Dr. Laura Ellis. She also finished her Performance Certificates from Baylor University under Dr. Isabelle Demers. Before she went to Baylor, Ms. Kim studied with Robert Bates and Matthew Dirst at the Moores School of Music in the University of Houston. She received a Bachelor of Music degree with emphasis in Sacred Music from Yonsei University in South Korea. Chohee Kim has taken master classes with German organists Martin Sander, Bernhard Haas, and Bernhard Leonardy, and she has also played in a master class for French organist André Isoir. Ms. Kim performed as collaborative musician at Jacoby Symphony Hall with Jacksonville Symphony (Requiem by Fauré), Jacksonville Children Chorus (Missa Brevis in D by Benjamin Britten) and she had invited Lent seriese organ concert at Memorial Presbyterian Church in St. Augustine, FL.

William Myers
First Presbyterian Church of Marietta March 23, 2022 12pm, Sanctuary
A native of Atlanta, Georgia, William Myers quickly discovered his passion for music after discovering the violin through the Cobb County public school system. Through the tutelage of Karen McClarey, David Doke, and Helen Kim, he quickly advanced, attending the Georgia honor and All-State orchestra programs each year, along with serving as concertmaster in the Georgia Youth Symphony. He continued studying with Professor Helen Kim while at Kennesaw State University, receiving his Bachelors of Music degree in Violin Performance in 2012. While at Kennesaw State University, he held the position as concertmaster of the symphony orchestra, performed as a member of the Felix String Quartet, and traveled with the symphony orchestra on a concert tour in Beijing and Xi’an, China. He has performed in masterclasses led by world renowned violinists James Ehnes, Stefan Jackiw, and the Ying Quartet. In 2012, Myers began his Masters of Music in Violin Performance at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst under Elizabeth Chang. He was awarded a Graduate Teaching Assistantship in which he greatly improved his teaching methods, and he was invited to join the Graduate String Quartet. His chamber music skills were greatly enhanced by the world renowned Chiara Quartet, Kathryn Lockwood, Toby Appel, Astrid Schween, Gilles Vonsattel, Arthur Arnold, Soyoung Yoon, Herbert Greenberg, Andrew Wan, Carrie Dennis, and Oto Carrillo. In 2014, Myers returned to the Atlanta area to be with his family. Since then, he has had engagements with the Georgia Symphony, Carroll Symphony, LaGrange Symphony, Rome Symphony, and the Atlanta Pops Orchestra. He has performed at the Variety Playhouse, the Aurora Theatre, The Fox Theater, The Verizon Amphitheater, and chamber music at Florence Kopleff Recital Hall on Georgia State University’s campus.

Dr. YoonSook Song & Chohee Kim First Presbyterian Church of Marietta March 30, 2022 12pm, Sanctuary A pianist, chamber musician and teacher, YoonSook Song was born in Suwon, Korea. She began to play the piano at the age of four. A recipient of the prestigious University Fellowship, she studied with professor Jaehee Hyun at Sejong University in Seoul, Korea where she graduated magna cum laude. During her college years at Sejong University, she performed several recitals, and in particular was invited to perform at the “2008 Debut Concert” for the most talented pianists of the area in Seoul. Her successful performances reinforced her passions and interests in piano music, which led to an entrance to the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, where she received a master’s degree in piano performance under the direction of renowned pianist, Dr. John Steele Ritter. She also holds a master’s degree in piano pedagogy and performance at the Ohio University. Dr. Song has received numerous prizes and awards for her performances, including The Piano Society of Korea Competition, Ohio University Soloist Competition and the OhioMTA Graves Piano Competition. She also became a winner at the University of Georgia Concerto Competition, Georgia MTA Competition, Grand Prize International Competition, Bradshaw & Buono International Piano Competition, Ischia International Piano Competition, The United States International Duo Piano Competition and American Prize in Piano Concerto. She was also one of the finalists at International Chamber Music Ensemble Competition, Pro-Mozart Competition, Memphis International Piano Competition, and Noir Orchestra International Concerto Competition. She has achieved numerous successes through the years, including performances in Carnegie Hall and at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria. More recently, Dr. Song completed her doctoral degree in piano performance at the University of Georgia. She has taught at Piedmont College as an Instructor of Music and also taught private lessons for pre-college and adult students through the Community Music School at the University of Georgia. Currently, she continues an active career as a pianist and an educator, performing at concerts and lecture recitals, giving presentations at national music conferences, and teaching pre-college and adult students at Piano Alpharetta. Dr. Eunice JungEun Oh First Presbyterian Church of Marietta April 6 2022 12pm, Sanctuary Eunice JungEun Oh is an active flutist who shows a passionate musicality and outstanding techniques based on her excellent interpretation of works. Dr. Oh holds a Bachelor of Music in flute performance from Kyungwon University in South Korea. She has a Master of Music degrees in flute performance from Ohio State University and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees in flute performance from the University of Alabama. JungEun won Ohio State University Concerto Competition and performed with the Ohio State University Symphony Orchestra in 2006. She performed in the National Flute Association’s Professional Flute Choir at conventions in New York City in 2009, Anaheim, CA in 2010. Dr. Oh was inducted Pi Kappa Lambda which is an American honor society. Since Dr. Oh has returned to Seoul, S. Korea in 2013, starting with a professional debut at Chamber Hall, SeJong Center for the Performing Arts, Seoul, S. Korea, Tongyeong Civic Center, and Fringe performance at the Tongyeong International Music Festival, she performed and was invited as a soloist in several concerts and recitals in South Korea. Dr. Oh is also the founder member of MUTO Chamber Players which is making classical music familiar to the public through stage and chamber music. As an educator, JungEun was an adjunct professor at Korean Bible University and instructor of Gachoen Art Talented Institute, Incheon Art High School. Dr. Oh primary teachers include Diane Boyd Schultz, Katherine Borst Jones and HyunSook Kim. Her musical enthusiasm leaded to Organ performance. Currently, Eunice JungEun Oh is pursuing a master’s degree in organ performance at Georgia State University and serving as an intern of music ministry at Dunwoody United Methodist Church.
