We understand how difficult it is to say goodbye and the importance of honouring your horse’s memory. Patch & Purr is made up of animal lovers who share our strong values and ethics and uphold our reputation at all times.

We are an Australian company and all of our cremation facilities are managed by our local teams, in Sydney, the Blue Mountains, the Central West, the North Coast/Hunter and the Illawarra/Southern Highlands.

We’re here to help you through your grief and provide you with the very best support and personalised service, whenever and wherever you may need us.

Our 7--Point Tracking System™ At Patch & Purr we’ve created our 7-Point Tracking System™, ensuring the dignified handling of your horse from collection to return to their forever home. Our expert team oversees every stage, having real-time visibility of your horse’s journey and can provide updates upon request for your peace of mind.

We assign a unique ID number to your horse at the time of booking and create an ID tag that contains your horse’s details (name, breed and location) as well as a uniquely trackable QR code.

This will provide live updates to our Client Care team in real-time.

Once your horse is in our care, we confirm their identification and booking details against our Tracker and make sure that your horse is ready to proceed to our keepsake or cremation team.

We check your horse’s identification and booking prior to cremation and attend to any specific last wishes (such as taking a tail or mane clipping). These keepsakes are checked so that they meet our highquality standards at this stage.

We place your horse’s identification on their private cremation chamber and confirm their details before and after the cremation process.

Your horse’s identification and booking details are checked and followed to place their ashes into your chosen urn or memorial items as requested.

We conduct a final quality inspection to confirm your horse’s booking details and any special requests have been completed perfectly.

7 When returning your horse’s ashes home, we carry out one final check, matching your horse’s identification and booking details with their return address to reunite them with you.

Pricing We understand you have a lot to think about after the loss of your horse, so we have made our pricing system as affordable as possible. Please contact our caring team to discuss payment options, including ZipPay and VetPay. Additional charges apply for weekend and after hours collections.

Our prices start from $2,200 and are dependent on the size of your horse and your location. Prices include:

Collection of your horse from any location within a 100km radius of South Windsor (we are able to travel up to 750km at a per km rate).

Guaranteed private cremation.

Personal return of your horse’s ashes to your home (within 100km’s of the Sydney metro area) in our woven standard vessel.

Where a personal delivery is unavailable (and if you’re located over 100km’s outside of Sydney metro area) our team will arrange ashes return to your home via our trusted and tracked courier service.

Horse Remembrance Trio R T H To make decisions easier, we have created a memorial collection to simplify the process of honouring your horse.

Arrangements are kept simple and affordable by having only your horse’s name on the nameplate. All items will be carefully prepared and contain your horse’s ashes.

$495 Price of Horse Remembrance Trio is not inclusive of cremation.

Includes printed photograph. Custom engraving is available for an additional $35.

Memorials Our collection of vessels provides a treasured reminder of your horse, allowing you to keep their memory alive for years to come.

Woven Standard Bag H B This complimentary woven bag is included in the price of your horse’s private cremation and is a suitable option if you wish to scatter their ashes.

Horse Hair Clipping LO H Our team will lovingly prepare a clipping of your beautiful horse’s mane or tail to remind you of the adventures you shared together.

$35 Horse Photo Box Your horse’s ashes are secured in a woven bag inside this charming photo box which displays a 20 x 25cm photo.
