Light Future
for the
At Fox Valley Church, we care for each other and those in our community living in darkness. We hold all the Lord has entrusted to us with an open hand–our opportunities, time, treasures, and talents. They all belong to Him. We are eager to do more to serve those who feel lost and alone. As we look to the Lord to direct our next steps, we are committed to praying, seeking His will, and listening for the Lord’s response–and then eagerly obeying His call! It’s our privilege to be the light of Christ for those stuck in spiritual darkness.
EXISTING REPAYMENT PLAN If we were to continue with our existing debt repayment schedule, we will eliminate the debt over the next 9½ years. Over this time we will pay approximately $287,000 in interest on our current $1.4 million obligation.* *Assumes our current payment amount and interest rate remains unchanged (The interest rate will be up for renewal in January of 2026).

STRATEGY #1 But like a misplaced boulder blocking the path or the handcuffs that bind a prisoner to his cell, Fox Valley’s debt prevents us from doing all that we can to shine the light of Christ in our community.
Our leadership and congregation agree that we must eliminate the church’s $1.4 million debt as quickly as possible. The longer we hold onto this debt, the more money is wasted on interest instead of invested in eternity. Our official timeline to pay off the debt is two years. But doing so in less time could save our church around $20,000.** So, Fox Valley Church, now is the time to roll up our sleeves and get to work! With the Lord, all things are possible!
If we were able to pay off our debt over the next two years we would realize interest savings of approximately $228,000.

STRATEGY #2 **If we were able to get an advance commitment of $500,000 to put toward the debt in year 1 we would save an additional approximately $20,000 in interest or a total interest savings of approximately $248,000 over our current schedule.

To prepare for our future, challenge yourself with these three important steps:

1 Pray Pray about how God will lead you and your family to be involved. Ask Him to show you how He would like to invest your giſts in ministry and fundraising at Fox Valley Church.
2 Prepare Through Scripture reading, our weekend services, and in personal prayer, prepare your heart and mind for the ministry the Lord will do through you and our church. Dig deep into God’s Word and seek His will for the future of our church. Take a spiritual giſt assessment and get plugged into a ministry you are passionate about.
3 Practice What’s the Lord teaching you? Whatever it is, put it into practice. Practice taking steps in obedience as you feel the Holy Spirit leading you into new ministry opportunities. Try new things. Be willing to extend yourself in new ways to fulfill the Lord’s call on your life. Look for ways to be a difference-maker and to shine Christ’s light in the darkness.
