Antwain earned an athletic scholarship to play football at the University of Tulsa where he was very successful by playing in two bowl games. After college, he joined the coaching ranks as an assistant coach. At Jenks High School, he was a part of four state champion teams. Following that, he became athletic director and head football coach for Booker T. Washington High where he won a state championship in 2008, and then an assistant football coach at Irving High School. Coach Jimmerson is now entering his seventh year at Jefferson. Later, I played in the Arena League and the European League. As a high school coach, I served as an assistant coach at Bandera High before making the move to Jefferson. My wife Falon and I have three children— Stephen Jr., SeMiracl and S’Josiah. My biggest influence is my mother Evelyn Gray. My favorite quote is “To whom much is given, much is required.”— Luke 12:48.

“I am Coach Devin Mathis. This my second year of teaching/coaching. “I am a 2016 graduate of Jefferson and also graduated from The University Of Texas At Tyler in 2019. Go bulldogs!”

I have been involved with the Jefferson Bulldog athletic program since my high school graduation. I played defensive line at Jefferson High School and still consider my high school number my favorite; number 30. Since high school, I’ve done several odd jobs around the City of Jefferson but he have never strayed too far from the athletic department that I love. My favorite quote is, “The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing.” -Walt Disney
