A

s Graham residents, we each have an important decision to make in this moment. We can choose to dwell on 2020 and the negativity we witnessed and experienced, and carry that burden into the new year.

After a year consumed by health challenges, elections, civil unrest, natural disasters, and more, it would be easy to do so. Or we can look back on 2020 in a positive light and be encouraged by how this town, this community, rallied together to support one another through challenging times.

we have seen so rampantly this past year in other areas of our country and across the globe. I appreciate the sense of camaraderie and the pride that is drawn from helping our neighbors and supporting local business. I admire the strength and ingenuity that our retail and restaurant community (along with other industries) has exhibited.

Thank you, Graham, for always rising to the occasion and coming together, shoulder to shoulder, to get through a global pandemic.

As Mayor, I am proud to continue to serve you. My goal for 2021 is to enable you to success, while following State and Executive orders to keep our community safe.

D

rawing a crowd has become second nature for the Graham Food Truck Championship of Texas. Since 2015, the event has drawn thousands to America’s Largest Downtown Square for a variety of choices from food trucks all vying for thousands of dollars worth of prizes.

The event kicks off each year with the Possum Pedal bicycle ride in the morning and the footnote of the day is a concert held at the Young County Arena. Fifty food trucks are selected for the event and on top of various prizes in other categories, are competing for a $10,000 grand prize.

Origins In 2014, Jennifer Conway, then Graham Chamber of Commerce CEO, and Sarah Lundgren, then Graham Conventions and Visitors Bureau Manager, worked with a committee to come up with a list of ideas to get people to visit Graham before forming the idea of the event.

One year later in 2015, the first Food Truck Championship of Texas kicked off on the Graham downtown square where it was held each year until 2020, drawing thousands of visitors to enjoy a bite to eat with musical entertainment throughout the day. Current Graham Chamber of Commerce CEO said the event in 2021 is hoping to return with a bang after the global pandemic last year caused the event to be canceled.

“In 2015, everyone was excited and amazed and encouraged by the number of people who came to

the event and attended the concert and it has continuously grown since then. Of course, last year, we had to cancel the event a few months prior and just felt like that was the right thing to do because of the pandemic and wanting to keep everybody safe and not knowing how things were going to play out,” Krisa De La Cruz said.

Food Trucks The main attraction of the Food Truck Championship of Texas is the 50 food trucks which are open into the afternoon on the square. To have those food trucks on the square the CVB has to go through a process where they take applications and make decisions on exactly what trucks they want during the event.

The CVB has applications for the food trucks on the website for the event and sends them out to all previous trucks which have partic-

ipated. After the application is sent in, a vetting committee reviews the application and votes on whether or not the truck can participate.

“We have a Food Truck Championship of Texas committee and there are about 35-40 people on that committee and then of that committee there is basically a panel that either accepts or denies food truck applications,” De La Cruz said. “So we have the application which includes obviously like a form, a picture of the truck, insurance waiver (and) all of that stuff. They send that in and that goes to the panel that reviews those and they vote to accept or sometimes will just hold it to wait and see.

Usually that is based on like have they done this type of event before (and) the type of food (because) we don’t want too many of the same type of food.”

The first two years De La Cruz said the CVB was actively recruiting 2021-2022 Graham Community Guide | 11

trucks because the event was new, but now since the event has become more known the trucks are coming to the organization to be a part of the event.

With 50 food trucks attending the event in June, the chamber has worked to make sure the event has been changed each year and adapted for the food truck vendors. De La Cruz said the reaction each year has been extremely positive from those who attended the event as vendors.

“We always get really good feedback from the food trucks,” She said. “We do a survey after each event for the food truck vendors and a lot of times they say things like ‘This was the most hospitable community that I’ve ever visited,’ or ‘Thanks, for making a new friend,’ that kind of thing. They feel like they get really good customer service so to speak and they are treated really well. And then of course they are happy that they are able to come here and make a lot of money that day as well, which is the goal for them. We get really good feedback though from the vendors, from the sponsors, from the volunteers (and) really overall.”

Economic Impact On top of being a major event for the city of Graham, the event also serves as a major economic boost for all aspects around the area. In the retail meetings with the chamber of commerce, De La Cruz said in previous year’s the group heard the event day is the best shopping day of the year for retail stores which also resonates with the restaurants in town despite hesitations in the beginning.

De La Cruz said previously that the 2018 event was the only year the event had not seen an increase in attendance. The CVB and chamber have worked each year to make the event bigger and better, while trying to bring in crowds and boost movement and tourism in the city.

“Tourism accounts for approximately one out of every seven jobs in any given community. And so if you think about that, the impact is pretty huge when it comes to jobs. So that could be retail, restaurant, hotel and then it trickles from there of course,” De La Cruz said. “When people come in from outside of town into our town and spend money that’s good for everyone who lives here so that benefits all of us. Tourism also enhances and impacts the quality of life for our local residents because we are able to do more here and have more to do here thanks to tourism activity.”

Young County Arena

T

he Young County Arena offers more than meets the eye, as it is slowly becoming the hub for events in Graham and Young County.

The arena was a community project that began construction in 2000. It was originally managed by Young County and the Young County Parks Board. In 2004, the city of Graham was contracted to manage the facility. The arena was completed in phases, with the parking lot and landscaping completed in 2007.

YCA is a multi-purpose event center with 277,000 total square feet of space. The main arena features seating for 2,500, a food court and a large concession stand. The facility has over

10,000 square feet of space in the main foyer for vendors to set up during various events.

Young County Arena Manager, Toni Elliott, left a career as a psychotherapist in 2019 to run the arena and return to an industry she has loved since a child in Graham.

“It's mainly an equine facility," Elliott said. "We host everything from rodeos to cutting horse shows to the junior livestock show. We do have some nonequine events such as the monster truck event, the dirt bike event and the food truck concert.”

Many of the events that are held at YCA are focused around youth. The arena hosts the annual county livestock show, which occurs each January, as well as youth and high school

rodeos that come through town.

YCA plays a big role in the community of Graham and Young County, both in opportunities and financial revenue.

Food Court & Concession Stand “We play a huge financial role in the community," Elliott said. "We will sell out hotels from a lot of the events. The gas

stations get businesses from people coming in and out of town just fueling up or snacks on the road. A lot of times people come to these events and they stay for two days.

They are utilizing lots of things in our town (...) I think provide recreation from the community.

What people don't realize is that it is almost always free admission out here to the events. It's a really good family-friendly environment for people to bring their children that doesn't really cost anything."

Except for holiday weekends, YCA hosts events nearly every weekend. The UPRA rodeo, monster truck event, dirt bike event and food truck concert are typically the only events with an admission charge.

With events starting up again following many shutdowns in 2020, Elliott looks forward to a full

2021 calendar. She said the event schedule is typically booked a year in advance with the YCA being one of the few locations of its kind in the area.

“It's hard to add events because we keep a full schedule and the events we have here have been around for a long time," she said. "We also want to welcome new people anywhere we can. We do keep a full schedule but we do like to welcome the new events when we can to keep things fresh as well."

Elliott would like to see YCA become an attraction that people associate with Graham. She would like the community to know how much is offered at the arena and the fun events it hosts.

“We just want to continue to generate revenue for the town," she said. "I don't think people know how much we generate because they don't know that we have things going on every weekend. So we just want to be able to continue to contribute that to the community."

Duck Derby F

or the past three years, tens of thousands of rubber ducks have flocked to Graham, Texas for the now-annual Rotary Club of Graham Duck Derby.

Even during a year in which a global pandemic struck, the ducks arrived in record numbers as the city of Graham entered the Guinness Book of World Records.

In 2018, the Graham Rotary Club hosted the first event, which included 7,000 yellow rubber ducks at the Fireman’s Park duck pond. Then club president Cam Bennett said the club was looking for a fundraiser that wouldn’t be a copy of other events already present in Graham and took their investigation out of state.

“We looked outside of the state and ran into Colorado and that is where we ended up finding that there is quite a few duck derbies that happen in the summers in Colorado mountainous towns because the rivers run,” he said.

Some members visited Aspen, Colorado, where they attended a duck derby event with over 30,000 rubber ducks. Seeing the enthusiasm and response to the event in Colorado led them to incorporate the idea in Graham, Bennett said.

“We picked the duck derby by seeing it up in Colorado and seeing the amount of interest that people get into these ducks 20 | 2021-2022 Graham Community Guide

and adopting ducks and people just go crazy about it. It is neat to see,” he said.

The duck pond at Fireman’s Park served as a challenge for the organization because it has no current that moves, so the organization had to establish one. After three test runs at the duck pond the organization found a way to make a moving current for the ducks.

“We are using a boat with a firehose and we are actually gonna hose down the ducks all the way to the end of the course, so it will be a race, but it will be a race that is actually pushed with a firehose,” Bennett said. “We can’t compete against the wind and there is no flow of water on that front duck pond at Fireman’s Park.”

Community members purchase ducks from participating organizations to participate in the duck derby. With over 9,000 ducks sold for the inaugural event, the club nearly doubled its goal of 5,000 ducks. Tanner Walls accepted a large check representing $2,500 in Visa gift cards along with four Texas Rangers tickets for having the first place duck.

After the success of the inaugural derby, the Rotary Club increased its goal for 2019. Instead of trying to sell 22 | 2021-2022 Graham Community Guide

5,000 ducks, the goal was increased to 10,000.

The second year was a success and the club experienced growth of popularity for the event. The organization hit their 10,000 duck sales goal by the morning of April 27 and had to cut off advance sales to ensure there could be ducks available for purchase on the day of the event. After it was all said and done, the event raised over $25,000 for 17 local organizations. Patricia Bara won $5,000 for having the first place duck.

The pandemic year of 2020 brought temporary changes to the event. In place of the duck race, this year the club aspired to beat the Guinness World Record for the longest row of rubber ducks. This meant the goal needed to be doubled in order to achieve the feat.

"I would be elated if we sold the 20,000, but we made the decision to increase our ducks when we decided to attempt the Guinness World Record so that we could guarantee that many being delivered. This year has been unique in a number of ways but Graham always shows up. Whether that is supporting our civic clubs, athletics, etc., they always show up and help in

any way they can,” club president Sarah Lundgren wrote to The Graham Leader.

The Guinness World Record for the longest line of rubber ducks was previously achieved June 5, 2011 in Seattle, Wash., with a total of 17,782 ducks measuring 1.6 km (1 mile) long, according to Guinness World Records.

The club was able to overcome this record as well as sell 12,224 rubber ducks. The organization had a new goal of 20,000, but were looking to sell 10,000 rubber ducks for the event. According to Guiness World Records, the longest line of rubber ducks consists of 19,919 ducks and was achieved by the Rotary Club of Graham on September 19, 2020. The rubber

ducks spanned 5,497 feet and it took over 30 minutes to walk the entire path.

In 2021, the duck derby is expected to continue in its original format and continue to see many members of the community flock to the derby in a fun effort to raise money for groups within the Graham community.

ake aim in Graham, Texas, with the archery discipline within 4-H and the Young County Shooting Sports program. The archery program has been in Graham for 20-plus years. It allows youth the opportunity to pursue their passion for outdoor education, hunting and other life skills.

The program allows like-minded kids, guided by coaches David Cook and Thomas Hernandez to engage in fellowship and friendly competition through archery. The program meets year-round on Mondays and Fridays from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.

of our volunteers," said county coordinator Penny Berend. "This past year, we've had new coaches come on board that re-ignited the program such as a new building (with help from the city) and opportunities where the program could grow in numbers, which allowed us to expand opportunities."

In the past, the program has run from early Feb. until the state competition in July. Cook and Hernandez have expanded the program for more children and give more one-on-one coaching time. "I took over as 4-H archery coach in Feb. 2019," Cook said. "We started with about five kids and now have upwards to 40 kids here Monday and Friday night." Children of all skill levels are invited and encouraged to attend.

"The first couple of months when kids first get into it, we start them on (a beginner bow)," Cook said. "(We) just work on their form and such. Then we go to tournaments.

We did nine of them last year. We've already done one tournament this year and took seven kids. We (earned) four gold medals, a third place and fourth place. I'm proud of them."

Archery, unlike other sports, can provide a life-long experience in sports. Athletes are not always able to participate in football or baseball. The sport can provide life skills for children to take into adulthood.

"Its unlike football, baseball and soccer, the regular athletic sports," Cook said.

"Archery, or even shotgun or rifle, that stays with you for life. It comes down to the point where you gotta put food on the table; this is it right here. You can go hunting. We have a lot of kids who go hunting with

us. I have a spot for 20 kids to go hunting, turkey or deer. It a kid does get a deer, I'm going to teach them how to field dress and everything. For these kids, its something they can carry with them for the rest of their life. It's discipline."

Even after COVID-19 restrictions forced the program to take time off. It has continued to grow since restrictions eased. In Sept.

2020, the program hosted it’s first 4-H Archery Fun

Shoot. The event includes a target 3D course, long distance shoot and a William Tell apple shot. Cook said he hopes to see the event grow in the future.

The only requirement to join is a membership in the Texas 4-H program.

Membership costs $30 for a year that runs from Sept.

1 through Aug. 31. The club offers bows for children to use during practices, and owing a bow is not required.

hile many small towns cannot brag on culture, Graham is filled with many possibilities. The town has a wide variety of quality food and several places where one can tap their feet, boost their mood and discover new music.

On America's largest town square, is a renovated hardware store that creates an open and comfortable

atmosphere. This little bistro offers entertainers such as Ross Shifflett, who was "bred in the blues and mixed with a Southern twang" and acoustic musicians such as Kim Bwennett, Randy Hawkins, Aaron Hill and others.

Just down the road, one can find a newly remodeled sports bar with an entertainment area as well as multiple TVs to watch your favorite team while enjoying a beverage. Gabe Choate brings his brand of singing and stringing

here as well as an Italian restaurant located less than a mile further down the road. If you prefer to be the star of the show, a karaoke night can be found here and multiple other locations around town.

At a neighboring bar and grill, located in the heart of Graham, they occasionally feature live entertainment from acts such as Barefoot Dixie Acoustic. This group features Tammy Schreiber on vocals, Kim Hunter on acoustic guitar and vocals and Frank Sarabia on percussion. They form a unique blend of country mixed with Americana, folk, rock and Southern rock.

Graham also offers a mountain top experience of the country, where you can sit on a patio with artists such as Finnis Smith, Brady McCool or 380 West Band.

The VFW Graham Memorial Post 8567 is a place where veterans can relax with their comrades. The post is open to the public and the funds stay in Graham to serve the local veterans and community.

The post often hosts live music where Dirty Mike and The Boys, Mando Molina, Jay Statham and Colt Gee have graced the stage. The post also offers pool tables and

steel-tip darts.

Perhaps the largest event hosted in Graham is The Food Truck Championship of Texas, hosted by the Graham Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Each June, the day starts with the Possum Pedal Bike Ride. Later in the morning, the Largest Downtown Square in America will be taken over by Food Trucks of all varieties competing for the coveted prize of Grand Champion and a total payout of $16,000.

The night is capped off with a concert hosted by the CVB at the Young County Arena. Whiskey Myers will headline this year's concert with support from the Read Southall Band, the Old 97's.

T

he history of Graham, Texas has always been wrapped up in its people, places and events. In the early 1860s, Col. Edwin Smith Graham and his brother, Gustavus Adolphus Graham visited Texas as shareholders in the Texas Emigration and Land Company. In 1871, the two brothers purchased a salt works on Salt Creek from Absalom Bobo Gant. Edmonia Graham, the wife of G.A. Graham mentioned in her first letter back home to Kentucky of the Warren Wagon Train Massacre that had recently occurred before their arrival that year.

At the time, all the territory was populated with buffalo, and the fact that those animals seemed to prefer this section prompted the Graham brothers to observe it would be one of the finest cattle raising districts in the entire state.

In 1872, G.A. Graham and his chainman, A.B. Gant began to survey and plot the town site with unusually wide streets, large blocks, and spacious lots, with the name of the town, of course, coming from that of its two founders.

Young County fell apart in 1865 but was reorganized in 1874. An election in the county selected Graham as the 36 | 2021-2022 Graham Community Guide

new county seat.

The Graham Leader, owned and edited by Major J.W. Graves, printed its first edition on August 16, 1876. This publication is still in existence and is the oldest publication in Northwest Texas.

In 1876, Graham’s first subscription school began with an enrollment of 50 students with J.H. Brantley serving as superintendent.

On December 24, 1876, Rev. Charles Holt Dobbs found five persons who were Presbyterians and organized the first Presbyterian Church in Graham. This congregation of twelve built a small building on south Oak Street which was destroyed by a wind just before completion. Undaunted, the congregation secured a second lot at the corner of First and Elm Street and completed their building in 1877 at a cost of $1,000. The Presbyterians generously offered the use of their building to other churches until they could complete their own buildings.

On February 15-16, 1877, forty cattlemen of North and West Texas gathered in Graham and formed the Cattle Raisers Association of Texas. The name was changed to Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association [TSCRA] in 1921. The organizational meeting was held under

One of the occurrences in Graham has been the development of oil and gas resources in Young County. The first gas well in Texas was drilled by the Graham brothers near the salt works in the early 1870s. By 1915, hotel lobbies and cafes were the gathering places in Graham where men were anxious to get in on the wealth offered by an oil producing well. In 1930, the McCloud well near Graham blew oil throughout the countryside for miles. High school boys were allowed out of class for two days to dig ditches around the well to ease the hazard of fire and to save the oil.

Graham continues to be a prosperous, growing city of about 9,000 people. There’s always more opportunities to “Discover Graham with Dorman” as we continue to tell and re-tell the stories of the people, places and events of Graham, Texas.

Banquet

For one night, businesses and individuals are honored in January during the Grahammy awards held as a part of the Graham Chamber of Commerce Banquet. Responding to the COVID-19 pandemic this year, the chamber had to work fast in making the event safe, but respectable for those being honored.

The event was held as a remote, virtual, live presentation held at multiple locations throughout the Graham community with local restaurants partnering to cater a location. The annual awards ceremony serves as a way to recognize individuals in the community who have made an impact.

Awards are presented for the Chamber Ambassador of the Year, Citizen of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Chamber Board President’s Choice, Business of the Year and the Salt Works Award.

Winners are chosen based on nominations received from the community to the Chamber of Commerce. All nominations are then reviewed by a committee consisting of chamber board members who selected the final winners.

Dr. Pat Martin Citizen of the Year The 2020 Citizen of the Year award went to Dr. Pat Martin who throughout the COVID-19 pandemic has served as the Young County Local Health Authority. Dr. Martin was presented the award by Graham ISD Superintendent Sonny Cruse during a Graham Steers basketball game versus Iowa Park and he accepted it on behalf of all healthcare workers during the pandemic.

“This particular individual assumed a very large responsibility for our community. I don’t think it goes without saying that not very many people would have taken that role and done as good a job, as thorough a job and truly just continued to go above and beyond what was necessary during the last year. The person kept us continually updated on what needed to be done within our households and our community. (He) continued to keep his pulse on all the changes that were fluidly changing across our country when it comes to the virus,” 2020 Graham Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors President Brendan Weatherman said.

J.W. Budge Volunteer of the Year The 2020 Volunteer of the Year award went J.W. Budge, who serves as the head of Keep Graham Beautiful and the Graham Convention and Visitors Bureau Board.

Graham Chamber of Commerce CEO Krisa De La Cruz said the volunteers in Graham make it a special place to live and Budge embodies volunteer service.

“This year, our Volunteer of the Year Grahammy recipient is someone who often contributes to projects and takes projects on on his own kind of behind the scenes.

Never wanting or requiring any recognition or appreciation, but he serves on multiple committees and boards such as the CVB board and the Keep Graham Beautiful Board of Directors and I’m so excited to recognize and honor J.W. Budge tonight with the Volunteer of Year Grahammy award,” De La Cruz said.

Bryan Insurance Agency Business of the Year The Business of the Year award went to Bryan Insurance Agency which has been around in Graham for 100 years this year.

“The godfather of this business transitioned from a lumberyard manager to an insurance agent and immediately began representing the people of Young County.

Little did he know, his commitment to his customers, his children and this community would lay the foundation for this business to excel for a century,” 2021 Graham Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors President Toby Reddell said. “This business has established a reputation in providing extraordinary personal service and professional compassion and commitment and that is something that has not been lost over the generations and decades to follow.”

Roy Pitcock Jr. Salt Works Award The Salt Works award went to Roy Pitcock Jr. who was presented the award at the satellite location Campbell Farm and Ranch on Elm St. in Graham. Pitcock has served for six years in the Graham Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

“If you attend a chamber event you will see this individual working tirelessly to fulfill his volunteers roles checking tickets, delivering bottles of water, volunteering to do whatever Krisa (De La Cruz) is trying to get someone else to do. His impact has stretched outside Graham to Austin and Washington as he follows in his father’s footsteps. His commitment to service and contribution to this community has been a major factor behind the success of many. This individual is involved in organizations throughout the town, throughout other communities and throughout the state of Texas and is viewed not just as a volunteer, but as someone whose morals and intellect people strive for and greatly respect and value,” 2021 Graham Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors President Toby Reddell said.

Codie Hedge Ambassador of the Year The Graham Chamber of Commerce Ambassador of the Year award went to Codie Hedge. Graham Chamber of Commerce CEO Krisa De La Cruz said the ambassadors in the organization are the backbone of the Graham Chamber of Commerce and Hedge went above and beyond in service to the community.

“This year I am so honored to present this award to a friend who we have nicknamed in our office the next Roy Pitcock. Codie Hedge received that nickname because he always goes above and beyond. He shows up first and he leaves last. Codie is a strong leader and a great person and very deserving of the Ambassador of the Year Grahammy award,” De La Cruz said.

The Graham Chamber of Commerce President’s award went to the entire district of Graham ISD for stepping up during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The award is presented annually by the standing president of the Graham Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

And this year’s recipient is not one particular individual just like Dr. Martin referenced with the hospital community and the medical community here in Graham. enry David Thoreau famously crafted the words “many men go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.” If I could imagine Thoreau’s continuation of this thought, I believe it would go something like “but those who discover the serenity of nature and the thrill of adventure tend to focus less on what may be on the end of the line, and more on the tranquility found in the outdoors.” Rivers and lakes have always drawn me in from a very early age. I remember crossing the Brazos River for the first time as a child and being mesmerized by the power and magnitude of the muddy water roaring under our ’93 maroon dodge minivan as I stared out of the window.

I recall fishing off the side of the canoe while my dad paddled us through a swift portion of the Brazos when I was just a kid. My lure, more than likely a hook and a kernel of corn, got snagged on a rock below the surface and began to tighten the slack on the line quickly and unexpectedly. In a panic, I yelled back at my dad “I’m stuck! I’m stuck!” to which he calmly responded, “just let go”…….so I let go. Of the entire rod and reel. Down to the bottom of the Brazos went my dad’s old Zebco. For a split moment, I thought my dad was going over the side of the 54 | 2021-2022 Graham Community Guide

canoe and into the water after it. I could see the mixture of confusion and anger across his face as he watched it sink. After what felt like an eternity of collecting his thoughts and choosing his words carefully, he explained to me that when he said “just let go”, he really meant to let the line go and release the tension. It was an honest mistake, a bit of innocence and ignorance on my part. Around the campfire that evening, we were both able to share a good laugh at the thought of the final resting place of his prized rod and reel, and my direct obedience of letting go.

Graham, America is fortunate to have multiple bodies of water that offer a vast array of outdoor recreation and sporting opportunities right here in our own backyard. Fed by Salt Creek to the North, Lake Graham and Lake Eddleman are connected by an equalization channel and prove to be great fisheries for anglers targeting largemouth bass, hybrid stripers, crappie, and channel catfish. The Eddleman side hosts the local power plant which provides significant hot-water discharge, making it a prime location for winter fishing. In addition to being an ideal fishing destination, Lake Graham and Lake Eddleman both offer a variety of water recreation possibilities from kayaking, paddle boarding, tubing, skiing, and swimming.

Both lakes offer public boat ramps and there are ample camping sites and picnic areas on the shoreline of Lake Eddleman.

As a water recreation enthusiast and avid angler, I encourage you to come discover the unlimited options for getting out on the water here in Graham, Texas. Whether you spend your time on a pair of skis, on the platform of a bass boat, paddling around in a kayak, or swimming off the shore, there’s something for everyone to explore and discover. Just as my father and I were able to create and share many special memories, some funnier than others, we would love for you to come make memories of your own on the waters of the Brazos, Lake Eddleman, Lake Graham, and Possum Kingdom Lake. Be sure to keep the words of Thoreau in the back of your mind and enjoy being in the moment while taking in all that the great outdoors has to offer.
