Advocating for our members and the business community to build and sustain a diverse and prosperous economy. Dear Members, he Chamber Page-Lake Powell welcomes you to Page, Arizona, a city full of many opportunities for tourism along with a lifestyle that our population enjoys all year long. The Chamber has been in force since 1960 and whatever your interests are, The Chamber has what you are looking for. Our Chamber Board is a true working Board comprised of 11 members, all of whom work on the Board year-round. The Chamber is a membership organization along with being a nonprofit. The Chamber actively fundraises throughout the year with our 89 Forward: Next Chapter economic forum, Best of Page where we honor our Business Community, our Balloon Regatta Vendor Fair and wrapping up our year with Santa’s Layover, raising funds for a scholarship for Coconino Community College. We host mixers monthly with our businesses, along with ribbon cuttings for all new businesses. Our mission is: Advocating for our members

The Chamber office is home to many forms, and assistance to helping our businesses with starting and maintaining their business here in Page. This past year we were excited to open PageLake Powell HUB, our Welcome Center for Page and surrounding areas. We are connecting our visitors with all there is to do here in Page and in the surrounding areas. As Page sits within one of the leading national parks and surrounds national parks, we have many places and events to enjoy while here in Page. Serving as the director since 2014, it has been a great honor and pleasure to help our Business Community in anyway I can. I currently sit on the NACOG (Northern Arizona Council of Governments) Board, the Workforce Development Board, the 89Forward Board, and the Page-Lake Powell Community Fund Board in assisting our business community. As a business owner myself, I look forward to having you in our community – whether you are an individual or a business owner. “The crown jewel of the southwest” Hello and welcome to Page, America! It’s great place to live, work, and to play. Page is located on the southern shores of Lake Powell, which is home to the Glen Canyon Dam, “the crown jewel of the southwest,” according to the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. Our community offers visitors both first-class recreation and unparalleled beauty. At the center of Canyon Country, our area is home to the famous Horseshoe Bend, Tower Butte, Rainbow Bridge, Antelope Canyon, the Lake Powell National Golf Course, and the Rimview Trail. Page is known for its small-town community atmosphere despite being an international destination for over four million visitors a year. Within these pages you will find a wealth of information that will help make your visit – whether temporary or permanent – a satisfying and a memorable experience. As the mayor, I strongly support our business community and the Lake Powell Chamber of Commerce. Through events, programs and services, the Chamber of Commerce Board and dedicated staff help their members build lasting business relationships. The City Council supports the Chamber and its continued commitment to Page’s economic development. The City Council has confirmed their commitment to investments in public infrastructure, public safety, and in our youth through parks and recreation. Our city employees are dedicated to meeting the needs of our local residents as well as present and future business owners. Our community is surrounded by the natural beauty of Navajo Sandstone, slot canyons, towering buttes, Lake Powell and the Colorado River. The arts and humanities are flourishing within this backdrop. We are proud of the Powell Museum art walk, the Lake Powell Concert Association, the Page Community Center and our award-winning public library. Parks throughout the city offer a variety of activities, including picnic areas, tennis and basketball courts, softball fields, new playground equipment, a natural amphitheater, and a brand-new skate park. Events here include several golf tournaments, marathons, rodeos, fishing tournaments, Native American dance performances, art walks, a spectacular Fourth of July fireworks show, and an annual hot-air balloon regatta. I invite you to see firsthand all the amenities Page has to offer. Stroll through a walkable downtown and enjoy mom-and-pop style retail and restaurants. Enjoy free parking and wide-open spaces. THE PAGE POLICE DEPARTMENT is a progressive and a professional agency, comprised of 25 sworn law enforcement officers and 13 civilian employees whom strive to fight crime in a proficient and proactive manner. Our officers are highly trained and are held to the highest degree of integrity and honesty. Their compassion shines brightly in their daily patrol work and community involvement. Along with our incredible staff, we collaborate with surrounding law enforcement agencies as partners to ensure the maximum level of service to the community. We participate in a variety of community policing initiatives, including, Coffee with A Cop, Neighborhood Watch, Shop With a Cop, Police Explorers, Serving Our Seniors, among a list of others. Through innovative policing partnerships with our community, we are committed to keeping the City of Page a safe and a wonderful place to live, work, and to visit.

Station 1 and headquarters are located in the Public Safety Facility; Station 2 is an unstaffed station; and the Airport Station is located at the Page Municipal Airport (238 N. 10th Ave.). Page Fire serves a city population of 7,600 citizens, over 3,000,000 visitors throughout the year, and over 50 square miles. PFD firefighters have three main objectives on the fire ground: Life safety, fire suppression, and property conservation. Page Fire members receive 3,388 hours of in-service training in all aspects of fire suppression and emergency services. This includes aircraft rescue firefighting, hazardous materials, high and low angle rope rescue, advance and basic life support, mass casualty, natural disasters, terrorism, and public education. Page Fire is fully equipped with one engine (Engine 1), one ladder truck (Ladder 1), a six-wheel Polaris (Rescue l), a first responding Attack Truck, an Airport Rescue Firefighting Truck, and four medical units: Medic 10, Medic 11, Medic 12, and Medic 15. Banner Page Hospital
2020 CHAMBER Health care PAGE HOSPITAL is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital. Built in 1958, the hospital provides a range of medical services that include emergency services, surgery, medical imaging, obstetrics, cardiopulmonary, acute care and rehabilitation. Page Hospital is a Planetree bronze tier personcentered hospital, meaning the hospital is a place of physical, mental and spiritual healing. The hospital employees strive to care for patients with compassion, dignity and respect. “You and your family are our partners in care.” In keeping with the Planetree philosophy, distractions commonly associated with hospitals
have been removed. Medical equipment is kept out of sight and overhead paging has been replaced with the soothing sounds of soft music. Hospital rooms have couches, refrigerators, outdoor patios and gardens, and more. And artwork is inspired by the Navajo people and the surrounding beauty of the canyons and of Lake Powell. Other Native American elements include a weaving loom and a traditional healing Hogan. Major construction and renovation have occurred at the hospital over the last 11 years, including the building of a new hospital entrance, an emergency room, a patient registration area, and the installation of a permanent MRI machine. In addition, the hospital in late 2018 received Level IV Trauma Center designation from the Arizona Department of Health Services’ Bureau of Emergency Medical Services and Trauma System, allowing the facility to support the state’s Level I Trauma Centers by resuscitating and stabilizing Banner Page Hospital 501 N. Visitors experience sunlight sneaking through crevices and shafts of light bisecting the distinctive Navajo Sandstone shapes of Antelope Canyon, or Tsébii’ Hazdeestas, or Tsé’ésdooltas (in the Navajo language – Diné Bizaad), a slot canyon formed by millennia of flash flooding. The slot canyons are short and narrow that can be several hundred feet deep. One will need a Diné guide to visit both Upper and Lower Antelope canyons. Upper is best seen while the sunlight is gentle enough to reflect its smooth orange and yellow undertones.
