No Profit.

Grants We’ve Funded LEAVEN, Inc. Leaven realized when they were giving out funds to low wealth, many of the clients needed additional help from some local non-profits. The issue was transportation and the time to get to those other non-profits. Leaven decided to have a capital campaign whereby these non-profits could be on-site, therefore alleviating the problem. We sponsored the ribbon cutting where this was shared with all the media and local businesses. The Building for Kids Children’s Museum Studies demonstrate that the first five years of a child’s life are the most important for their play development and interactions. The Building for Kids offers these and decided to launch an initiative to allow low wealth families with children ages 0-5 to be able to use the museum. Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin, Inc. When purchasing healthy food or basic needs, many families in the community opt for the second as they have limited funds. Statistics show that healthier foods correct many issues that families must deal with in the future. With this grant, we made Feeding America’s idea a fact for those suffering food insecurities. In future years, we’re sure we’ll see the results. Unhinged Green Bay has been trying to grow the arts in the area and have been looking for different ways to do that. Unhinged used a nontraditional experience with the arts that made the guest experience a one of a kind event where they participated. It encompassed many of the arts, visual, culinary, actors and actresses, different types of music and ballet. We split the title sponsorhip with Fox Communities Credit Union. Clintonville Goodfellow’s Association The Clintonville area does not have the resources that many communities have. In fact Goodfellow’s was formed to allow some of the drives that many have come to expect including coats, food, toys etc. With the numbers increasing each year, they reached out to purchase enough for all the local children on their list to receive a toy for Christmas. St. John the Evangelist Homeless Shelter and The Micah Center This shelter is the only shelter in the area that accepts those who, for various reasons, do not qualify to stay at the other homeless shelters in the Green Bay area. Each year, St. John’s puts on a gala to help the clients they serve because they are aware of the vulnerability of their clients and want to ensure they can raise enough money to fund their program for a year. Their ultimate dream is of a future where homelessness won’t exist.
