Quartz Countertops

Quartz countertops are an engineered product, meaning that they come from natural quartz and other minerals. This means that it allows you to hand-select pigments during the manufacturing process. This level of customizing has turned quartz into one of the most popular choices for countertops in recent years. Your choice of colors and style is virtually limitless, making this material a fantastic option for those looking to get creative. It’s also incredibly easy to maintain, able to be wiped clean in most situations, and flexible enough to resist dents and chipping. However, since this flexibility comes from the artificial resin used to hold it together, quartz can be susceptible to damage from heat.

Granite Countertops

It’s easy to see why this is one of the most popular countertop materials out there. Because it contains a combination of mica and feldspar, Granite is one of the hardest materials on Earth, making it a great choice for both the interior and exterior renovation projects. Suffice to say your granite countertop won’t wear out any time soon. But all that durability makes it tougher to cut granite into the shape you want, meaning more unique designs will end up costing more.

Just because it’s sturdy doesn’t mean it’s not also eye-catching. When used properly and in the right design, granite can be downright beautiful.

Soapstone Countertops

If you want a natural countertop that is elegant and durable, you can’t go wrong with soapstone. Unlike other natural stones, like granite and marble, soapstone is non-porous, meaning that it’s completely stain-resistant and won’t harbor bacteria the way other stones might. Plus, you don’t need to reseal it the way you do with quartzite and other more porous materials. Feel free to enjoy that extra glass of wine -- even if you spill it, there won’t be any evidence by morning.

Quartzite Countertops

While similar in name, quartz and quartzite are very different materials. Unlike quartz, quartzite is a naturally occurring rock, and a beautiful one at that. It’s also significantly harder (even harder than granite) The rock also contains a broad mix of minerals, meaning you can choose from a wide range of colors, including pink, red, yellow, blue, and green. While you may not get the same variety you get with quartz, there are significantly more options than most most would think.

Quartzite requires a bit more maintenance than its engineered cousin, including occasional resealing, and its hardness means it is susceptible to dents and chipping. However, it’s virtually impervious to heat, and has a “natural stone” look that the artificial quartz can never quite mimic.

Marble Countertops

Marble is a luxurious and sophisticated choice in countertops. Its hallmark swirls and colors are formed by the blending of different minerals deep beneath the Earth’s surface, making each slab completely unique. It also hits a special sweet spot in its hardness, since it’s durable enough to resist scratches and dents, but soft enough to be customized for your kitchen without breaking the bank.

For centuries, marble’s pure beauty has been a key ingredient in some of the world’s most famous works of architecture, including the Washington Monument and the Taj Mahal, proving how timeless this material truly is.

After our team has recieved your final approval on all materials, we place the order for you kitchen to be created. Although turnaround time varies from project to project, we approximate 4 to 8 weeks from order to finish.
